A UK school is in lockdown this morning (May 7) following reports of a ‘serious incident’ taking place.
Cedar Mount Academy in Gorton, Manchester is currently on lockdown with students reportedly being urged to stay in their classrooms as alarms can be heard.
Police are on the scene at the school on Wembley Road, according to eyewitnesses, with concerned parents also outside.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police confirmed officers are on the scene this morning.
