Mohamed Salah’s subsequent membership desire as ‘£52m proposal’ emerges for Liverpool star
Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah is set to leave Anfield this summer, and a lucrative £52m proposal could be on the table for the Egyptian
Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah is said to favour staying in Europe when he departs Anfield this summer. It is also reported that Turkish Super Lig outfit Fenerbahce are ready to table a three-year contract for the Egyptian, potentially netting him a cool £52million.
The 33-year-old is set to bid farewell to the Reds after nearly ten years on Merseyside. Since joining Liverpool under then-boss Jurgen Klopp in June 2017, Salah has amassed an impressive collection of silverware, including two Premier League crowns, the Champions League, FA Cup and a pair of League Cups.
However, the winger’s performances have taken a significant dip this season, prompting Arne Slot to bench him for several games. Speculation over Salah’s next destination has been rampant since his announcement in March that he would be moving on.

The ex-Chelsea, Roma and Fiorentina star has been heavily linked with a switch to the Saudi Pro League in recent times and was the subject of a £150m offer from Al Ittihad in 2023, which Liverpool turned down.
Now, The Sun reports that his top preference is to stay in Europe, despite the potential for higher earnings if he were to make the move to Saudi Arabia this summer.
In related news, reports in Egypt that Jose Mourinho’s former side, Fenerbahce, have held talks with Salah’s representative and outlined their plans for the next three years.
It is suggested that the Turkish outfit are plotting how they intend to construct their team around Salah as they seek to claim a first championship since 2014.
The reports also suggest that during the discussions, Salah’s agents were informed that Fenerbahce are ready to provide a wage of £17.3m annually and would be prepared to offer him a three-year contract, which would see him earn approximately £52m over that timeframe.
Sky Sports, HBO Max, Netflix and Disney+ with Ultimate TV package

Sky has upgraded its Ultimate TV and Sky Sports bundle to now include HBO Max, Netflix, Disney+, discovery+ and Hayu, as well as 135 channels and full Sky coverage of the Premier League and EFL.
Sky broadcasts more than 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL and more with at least 215 live from the top flight alongside Formula 1, darts and golf.
This comes after recent speculation in Egypt that Spanish heavyweights Real Madrid are allegedly at the front of the queue to land Salah’s services.
Nevertheless, it is understood that Los Blancos’ recruitment strategy typically does not permit a generous package being presented to a player in the latter stages of their career.
Serie A sides, including Roma, Juventus and Inter Milan, are also said to be interested.
A potential reunion with Lionel Messi at American MLS outfit Inter Miami has also been suggested, though the league’s wage restrictions could prove problematic.
