Soccer Aid star broke ‘bro code’ and married my ex-girlfriend – I can not help his workforce

A Soccer Aid star won’t have the support of one person following a relationship drama that saw him shack up with

Jack Wilshere won’t have one supporter backing him when he takes part in Soccer Aid this weekend.

The Arsenal legend will feature in the annual charity match at Wembley on Sunday for the third consecutive year. He’ll line up at the historic stadium alongside former England colleagues Wayne Rooney, Theo Walcott and Jermain Defoe at the stadium.

The 34-year-old remains a beloved figure in north London but alienated one admirer through his love life. Wilshere was previously in a long-term relationship with hair stylist Lauren Neal, with whom he has two children. Following their separation in 2014, Wilshere started seeing Andriani Michael.

His former mate Starzi Kyriacou revealed he had previously been romantically involved with Andriani and claimed Wilshere’s choice to pursue her left him “mad” at the former midfielder.

Kyriacou told The Sun: “I was good friends with him. I’m mad at him, my ex and her family. It won’t work out between those two.”

Kyriacou, who owns a fish and chip shop, confessed he was a devoted Arsenal supporter but found it difficult to back the club following Wilshere’s relationship with his ex-partner.

He raged: “It’s not nice supporting a team with someone who my ex is going out with in it. They’ve got no respect for me so I’ve got no respect for them.”

The roots of Wilshere’s friendship with Kyriacou reportedly trace back to his regular visits to Andriani’s father’s barbershop in north London.

Wilshere popped the question to Andriani in 2016 and they tied the knot a year later. They then welcomed a daughter in 2018 and a son in 2020. Once touted as the future of English football, Wilshere’s promising career was ravaged by injuries, limiting him to just 197 appearances for the Gunners over a decade.

After leaving his childhood club in 2018, the ex-England midfielder joined West Ham but only featured 19 times in two years before returning to Bournemouth – four years after his initial loan spell with the Premier League side.

The final move of his playing career saw Wilshere have a brief spell with Danish outfit Aarhus Gymnastikforening before hanging up his boots in 2022. He subsequently embarked on a coaching career with Arsenal’s under-18 squad and later moved to Norwich City as a first-team coach.

He landed his first managerial role with League One side Luton Town in October 2025 and guided the club to EFL Trophy glory after defeating Stockport County 3-1 in the final.
