Elle Bradshaw, who piled on the pounds after guzzling takeaways during lockdown, has transformed herself thanks to filler and fat jabs

A size 20 mum who piled on the pounds after guzzling takeaways and alcopops has transformed herself thanks to fat jabs and filler.

Elle Bradshaw hadn’t experienced any issues with her weight until covid when she was unable to train in the gym and began ordering more takeaways than usual. The 28-year-old also started gulping down eight Smirnoff Ices and blue WKDs each week, which she believes contributed to her unexpected weight gain.

Before lockdown, the 5ft 5in mum-of-two weighed 10st, ballooning to 16st 3lbs in March 2025 thanks to unhealthy eating habits. The nursery practitioner said her breaking point came when she couldn’t fit in any outfits for a Sabrina Carpenter concert, buying an oversized tour t-shirt to ‘hide’ her tummy.

After doctors told Elle she had dangerously high cholesterol, the mum decided to make a drastic change, ordering a weight-loss jab from an online pharmacy.

Within the first few weeks, Elle lost 17lbs and a further two stone in the following two months, dropping from a size 20 to a slinky size eight in a year. Now weighing 10st, Elle has had filler injected in her pre-jowls, chin and lips after her dramatic weight loss left her with a ‘saggy’ face.

After her 6st weight loss transformation, Elle is gearing up to wear a bikini for the first time in more than a decade. Elle, from Manchester, said: “I started to gain weight in covid. I used to be into the gym, but you couldn’t really go to the gym.

“You couldn’t do anything so a takeaway felt like a treat. I was never a big drinker but something that I enjoyed to drink was alcopops and they’re quite fattening.

“We’d just have a few Blue WKDs and Smirnoff Ices because I’m not into vodka and gin. On a weekend I’d probably drink six to eight. Before I knew it, a year had gone by and I’d gained a fair few stone.”

It was in March 2025 that Elle decided to change her lifestyle for the better after a routine blood test revealed she had ‘severe high cholesterol’.

That same month, Elle was trying on outfits for a Sabrina Carpenter concert in Manchester when she struggled to button her jeans up, prompting her to take her weight loss seriously.

Elle said: “I was trying loads of outfits on for a Sabrina Carpenter concert and I couldn’t button any of the jeans up.

“I remember putting the dress on and thinking ‘how have I got to this point?’ That was like the turning point for me. I ended up buying some tour merchandise when I was there and putting it over the dress to hide my tummy.

“I went for a blood test just before the concert and they told me I had severe high cholesterol. They said I need to lose the weight in six months because it could be detrimental to your health. It was a wake-up call for me.”

After buying a weight-loss injectable from an online pharmacy, Elle noticed her weight began to fall off, dropping three stone within the first few months.

Now weighing around 10stone, Elle credits the jabs for being the ‘best thing she’s done’ and encourages others struggling with their weight to consider the option.

Elle said: “I had no side effects, the weight was coming off me quickly. I wasn’t craving the rubbish food anymore. Over time, I just began picking up healthier habits. The jabs helped me stop vaping too. They’ve definitely benefited my life overall.

“When you lose weight, it can actually age you because your skin can go quite saggy. [I decided to get filler after] I started noticing my skin was hanging over my chin and felt self-conscious looking in the camera.

“I look at old pictures and can’t even believe that was me. For me personally, jabs were the best thing I’ve done.

“I actually enjoy buying clothes now. I’ve just ordered some bikinis and hoping I might wear one this year for the first time in 10 years.

“I just say to people [wanting to go on jabs] just do it. If you do it with the right provider, it’s a slim chance that things can go wrong.”
