‘I visited Tom Zanetti’s restaurant and one factor completely stunned me’

When your restaurant is owned by DJ, rapper and producer Tom Zanetti, you expect it to come with plenty of atmosphere – and Zanettis certainly doesn’t disappoint. Located inside the famous Tibu nightclub, the venue perfectly blends quality dining with the high-energy party scene it’s become known for. Whether you’re looking for cocktails and a few small plates before dancing the night away or fancy sitting down for a proper meal, it caters for both. The atmosphere hit us the moment we arrived. England were playing nearby, so the whole area was absolutely buzzing. The excitement spilled out onto the streets as fans packed nearby bars before making their way into the nightlife, creating a real sense that the evening was only just getting started.
Inside Zanettis, groups of friends sipped cocktails, tucked into dinner and soaked up the lively atmosphere as the music gradually built throughout the evening. It felt like the perfect meeting point before Marbella’s nightlife kicked into full swing. If you’re after somewhere to kick-start your night, this is exactly the place. The cocktail menu is packed with refreshing drinks, while the selection of small plates makes it easy to grab a bite without filling up too much before the night ahead. That said, if you’re anything like us and can’t resist a proper feast, don’t overlook the main menu. The fillet steak was, quite simply, the star of the show, and caught me totally off guard. Beautifully cooked, wonderfully tender and bursting with flavour, every mouthful melted in the mouth. It was so good we were already talking about ordering another before we’d even finished.
The halloumi skewers were another standout, perfectly grilled with a delicious smoky flavour, while the restaurant’s aptly named Sexy Pasta more than lived up to the hype. Rich, indulgent and packed with flavour, it’s comfort food with a touch of glamour. The service was equally impressive. Staff couldn’t have been friendlier, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked through the door. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, adding to the relaxed yet lively atmosphere. As the evening rolled on, the music turned up, the lights dimmed and Zanettis effortlessly transformed from stylish restaurant into full-blown party destination. Being located inside Tibu means you don’t even have to move far once dinner is over – simply finish your meal and head straight into the action.
Of course, there’s always one extra reason to keep your eyes peeled. As it’s Tom Zanetti’s venue, you never know when the man himself might make an appearance. We were lucky enough to bump into him ourselves, adding an extra touch of excitement to an already memorable evening. With standout food, expertly made cocktails, brilliant service and an atmosphere that builds perfectly as the night goes on, Zanettis is much more than somewhere to grab dinner.
It’s the ideal place to kick off a big night out – and after one visit, it’s easy to see why Tom Zanetti’s name above the door keeps the crowds coming back.
