Liverpool legend Mohamed Salah has seemingly all but confirmed his new club as he was snapped sporting Trabzonspor’s red and blue home kit.

The Egyptian king, 34, greeted fans and media wearing the shirt, having agreed to join the Turkish outfit following his departure from Liverpool as a free agent at the conclusion of last season.

Salah is reportedly set to sign a two-year contract after the Trabzon-based club appear to have won the race. It was heavily rumoured that Salah would make a switch to Saudi Arabia but Turkish clubs made determined efforts to secure his services as the top sides in the country look to splash the cash and add quality to their squad.

Salah will team up with Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana, who has returned to the club on loan for a second campaign. Former Manchester City defender Stefan Savic is another ex-Premier League star currently turning out for the Super Lig outfit.

Salah delivered a heartfelt goodbye when his departure from the Reds was confirmed in March. “Liverpool is not just a football club, it’s a passion, it’s a history, it’s a spirit,” he said. “I can’t explain in words to anyone not part of this club.
