The Cremo fragrance reminds me of Maison Margiela’s Replica Jazz Club (£62, Boots), with the same softly lit cocktail-lounge atmosphere. It’s the sort of scent that makes me think of dimly lit bars, winter evenings and getting dressed up for a night out.
What I particularly like is that it has decent staying power without becoming overpowering. The scent lingers on my boyfriend’s clothes throughout the day, but it remains relatively subtle – so I get little wafts of that warm, smoky sweetness rather than being hit with fragrance every time he walks into a room.
