Biggest switch deadline day offers as far as Premier League golf equipment splash money
Premier League clubs are ready to splash the cash on deadline day as they scramble to beat the window slamming shut with the British transfer record potentially being smashed again

Premier League clubs are scrambling around in a desperate effort to land last-ditch deals on transfer deadline day and here’s all the biggest ones done so far.
Despite the window being open for two and a half months, most clubs are yet to finalise their transfer work this summer with a record-breaking final few hours of the window ahead of the 11pm cut-off. We’ve got the lowdown on mega moves potentially in the pipeline and signatures already secured on Tuesday, September 1.
The British transfer record could be set to be smashed again today with Enzo Fernandez’s potential switch from Chelsea to Manchester City the biggest deal of the day. However, that could be eclipsed by Arsenal finally being able to convince wantaway Julian Alvarez to join from Atletico Madrid.

Elsewhere, Manchester United still haven’t addressed one of the most glaring gaps in their squad. Left-back was an obvious area of weakness last season when Tyrell Malacia was in reserve to Luke Shaw and when the peripheral Dutchman departed, making a signing there was a priority.
But with Lewis Hall and Myles Lewis-Skelly staying put at Newcastle and Arsenal, they have been passive with their approach elsewhere.
There is reluctance to commit too much financially, as they are likely to return for Hall next summer, while Ineos want to end the days of stopgap loan signings such as Marcel Sabitzer, Wout Weghorst and Sergio Reguilon.

The busiest club on deadline day are Manchester City, who are working on deals for Enzo Fernandez and Iliman Ndiaye and will hope to pull both off today in what would be a near £200m deadline day double deal.
The Blues have tracked Fernandez for most of the summer but Chelsea want £120million plus for the midfielder, which would mean City breaking their transfer record for the second time this summer following the £116m arrival of Elliot Anderson.
Enzo Maresca is a huge fan of Fernandez and wants the Argentina international to bolster a midfield that has seen key departures with Rodri, Bernardo Silva, Nico Gonzalez and Tijjani Reijnders all departing this summer.
Meanwhile, Everton’s Ndiaye is expected to move to the Etihad in a £65million move after City pivoted to the Senegal forward after talks with Liverpool over a switch for Cody Gakpo broke down.
Ndiaye had been wanted by Tottenham but City are in pole position to conclude a move for the 26-year-old, who would essentially be a replacement for Omar Marmoush with the Egypt international having left for Spurs on loan with a £60m obligation to make the deal permanent next summer.

Across the M62, Harvey Elliott to leave Liverpool and complete a season-long loan move to Valencia, with the versatile midfielder flying into Spain overnight ahead of his medical.
His short-term switch to Mestalla could end with a new contract at Liverpool but his current deal runs until 2028 anyway, which means that the Reds will still be able to get a transfer fee for him if they decide to sell him permanently next summer.
Marc Guiu has left Chelsea and joined Bundesliga side RB Leipzig in a permanent transfer. The 20-year-old striker departed Stamford Bridge in a deal worth around £13.7million, with the Blues inserting a significant sell-on clause.
Guiu joined Chelsea from Barcelona in the summer of 2024 and went on to make 29 appearances for the Blues, scoring eight goals.
In terms of incomings for the Blues, an official bid worth £40m has been sent to Monaco for midfielder Lamine Camara. The bid is reportedly seen as low but talks are ongoing.
Meanwhile, Bournemouth are standing very firm and are refusing to sell Alex Scott. Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool have all shown interest this summer.

Chelsea had £64m turned down, but have renewed interest as they look for an Enzo Fernandez replacement only to be told there was nothing doing. There have been late phone calls – but Bournemouth’s resolve has stood firm. Expect that to be revisited in the summer as Scott has turned down a new deal.
It’s a busy day for sure in London as north of Stamford Bridge, Tottenham are set to seal the loan signing of Mykhailo Mudryk on a loan deal with an option to buy of £75m for the 25-year-old who has not played for two years due to a doping ban.
Tosin Adarabioyo is also likely to make the move from Chelsea to Tottenham for £7m plus add ons. Those deals mean Kevin Danso will join Sunderland on loan and Pape Matar Sarr to Juventus, while Richarlison is attempting to force an exit following an emotional post on social media taking aim at Spurs.

Just down the road, Arsenal are expected to finalise and confirm the sales of four players today. Gabriel Martinelli to Al Hilal for £60million, Gabriel Jesus to Barcelona for £8.6m plus £4.3m, Fabio Vieira to Hamburger SV for £7.7m and Ethan Nwaneri joining Borussia Dortmund on loan for the season.
Incomings are still on the cards too but Arsenal have failed to agree a fee with Lyon for Malick Fofana. There are no issues on the player side, who wants the move, personal terms not a problem. But the £35m asking price is the main obstacle for the Gunners.
According to The Athletic, Sunderland are willing to stump up the fee and have reached an agreement with Lyon for the 21-year-old who looks set to join the Premier League after all.

However, Julian Alvarez is training with Atletico Madrid again this morning, indicating his chances of sealing a sensational deadline day transfer to Arsenal are next to nothing.
After defeat against Arsenal last night, Aston Villa are expected to confirm two signings today – Ibrahim Mbaye and Taylor Harwood-Bellis. Both players were in attendance at Villa Park for Monday night’s match against Arsenal.
Everton are set for a whirlwind day of business as the transfer deadline approaches. The Toffees have agreed a deal starting at around £40m with AS Monaco for US forward Folarin Balogun and have reached an agreement with Manchester City over the return of Jack Grealish on loan.
Iliman Ndiaye, meanwhile, is due to head to the Etihad after an initial £60m agreement was reached with City over the winger. Beto was in Italy on Monday to work towards the completion of a move to Fiorentina for a reported £15m.
Meanwhile, Leeds are poised to sign Nice defender Melvin Bard. The full-back will join the Yorkshire club on a season-long loan before making the deal permanent next summer for an initial £1m, with the deal rising to £5.5m
Fulham will be among the Premier League’s busiest clubs today as the winds of change continue to sweep through Craven Cottage.
The west Londoners are hoping to wrap up a £21.4million deal for Swedish central midfielder Hugo Larsson, who was in London for talks with Fulham and one other unnamed rival last week.
