Arsenal’s full £195m record-breaking switch window ins and outs as 11 arrive and 9 exit
Arsenal have completed a record-breaking summer transfer window with 19 ins and outs, including record player sales, but work remains unfinished ahead of the January window
Arsenal arguably won the 2025 transfer window last year after Andrea Berta emerged as the hero of the Gunners’ overhaul towards winning the Premier League title.
And after splashing almost another £200million, Arsenal strengthened again in midfield and defence, but the club’s inability to secure an elite forward, namely being unable to convince Julian Alvarez to leave Atletico Madrid and being turned down by a host of other stars, has left the 2006 window still feeling a little underwhelming.
The club have been unified in their decisions, but despite this there is a feeling that more could have been accomplished. It leaves tasks incomplete heading into the January transfer window and the following summer window.

However, there was record-breaking activity in terms of player sales, an area of the squad that had been under scrutiny after waiting several years for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s nine-year record £35m move to Liverpool to be surpassed. Some nations still have open windows while the club’s eagerness to finalise the signing of Andria Bartishvili continues – the Georgian would join alongside Victor Ozhianvuna in January of next year.
Additionally, there were also triumphs at youth level for the new Academy Director, Pascal de Maesschalck, who appointed his new under-21s head coach David Horseman and secured some top young talent. Here, the Daily Star Sport has compiled all the arrivals and departures at the Emirates Stadium this summer:
