Donald Trump sends nasty message to Harry and Meghan as they depart USA
The US president has not minced his words as he spoke about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s return to the UK after a six year stint living in America – and he had one particular thing to say

US President Donald Trump has said he is “happy” that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have left the US for the UK, declaring he is “not a fan”.
The Orange Manbaby hasn’t been shy in the past about criticising the Royal couple. But his latest outburst comes after Harry and Meghan arrived back in the UK for an extended stay with their children Archie and Lilibet. Speaking to journalists in the Oval Office during a meeting with travel executives, Trump was asked about the couple’s sudden announcement that they were leaving the United States.
He replied: “I am happy about it. I was not a fan,” adding he did not like how they conducted themselves in America.

Trump also accused the pair of disrespecting the Royal Family, saying: “I thought they treated the royal family with great disrespect. I didn’t like it.
“I didn’t like the way she acted. I thought she was terribly disrespectful to the Queen, to King Charles.”
He then went further – and appeared to offer advice to the Palace about their return – adding: “If I were the royal family, I would not have taken them back.” The Sussexes’ U-turn was revealed last week when they were reported to have landed at Birmingham Airport.

They are said to be settling into a private residence in the Cotswolds, outside London. While back in Britain permanently, the couple are expected to remain non-working royals and are not anticipated to resume official public duties.
Trump’s comments are the latest flashpoint in a long-running public feud with the Sussexes, which stretches back to 2016 when Meghan criticised him during his first presidential campaign, and later to 2020 when he insisted the US would not pay for their security after they moved to California.
He has also previously weighed in on controversy surrounding Harry’s visa status after the prince wrote about past drug use in his memoir Spare, at one point hinting at possible visa issues before later rowing back. Harry and Meghan have not yet reportedly responded publicly or issued a statement about Trump’s latest remarks.
