Jaw-dropping footballer goes viral as followers say ‘she’s undoubtedly a keeper’
Football fans have joked that a jaw-dropping footballer is “definitely a keeper” after her snaps went viral on social media.
Alexa Seiler has shot to overnight stardom after some training snaps did the rounds on X. The pictures left fans scrambling to discover the identity of the glamorous shot-stopper – and, after tracking down her social media profiles, they wasted little time flooding her comments section with compliments.
Seiler, who plays between the sticks for Karlsruher SC’s women’s team, had cheeky fans all making the same joke, with her pictures proving she looked just as good facing penalties as she does on a night out.

The German keeper loves sharing behind-the-scenes snaps with her almost 32,000 followers – and she saves her most glamorous content for posts away from the pitch.
Seiler asked fans if they were ready for the World Cup as she flaunted her looks in a Brazilian top and some bikini bottoms. While a picture from last October showed her letting her hair down in a seriously sultry Halloween costume.
And her fans can’t get enough of the stunner: “That’s a keeper,” one fan joked on a snap of her training. While a second added: “Always been a KSC fan since childhood…”

However, there is much more to Seiler than her eye-catching social media presence. And she had quite the route into football, when, after growing up in a German town, she took the jump to play college football stateside.
Speaking on the Chi State Pod, she admitted it was “overwhelming” at first as she had never actually left Europe before making the jump.
“In Germany, it’s very different when you study. You’re just focusing on studying and there’s literally nothing you could really do at the university.

“And sometimes you even have to stop your sport or whatever you do, like your hobby, because there’s no time. I knew I wanted to study, but I didn’t want to give up my sport.
“So I was like, where can I do it to just combine those things? My friend actually did it before me from Germany. She went here to New York. So I was like, I want to try that too.
“To maybe find a place where women’s soccer is even bigger, in a kind of sense, and it’s more appreciated too. So that’s where my decision was made to come to the U.S!”

Even then, Seiler wasn’t completely convinced she had made the right decision.
She had spent the best part of a year mulling over the move before finally taking the plunge, telling herself that if it didn’t work out, she could simply head straight back home.
However, it was a gamble that paid off. Seiler went from strength to strength at Chicago State University and was part of the team that secured the university’s first-ever win.

After graduating, she returned to Germany and joined Karlsruher, continuing her football career back on home soil.
In a recent video on their social media channel, Seiler was asked what her two proudest moments were: “Getting my bachelor’s degree and passing my Abitur [German school-leaving qualification].”
Now, though, the focus is firmly back on football, despite her star starting to grow on social media. Seiler was again in action over the weekend for the German side, as they bested SpVgg Greuther Fürth 3-0.
