Pro ‘spoiled brat’, 30, bullies males on-line into handing her £400k to spend on lavish life-style

A law lecturer quit her job to become a ‘professional spoiled brat’ – and claims men have sent her £400,000 to blow on ‘Chanel handbags and festivals’.

Lola Sharp, 30, decided to quit studying her law PhD and ‘soul-destroying’ lecturing job, which paid £14.50 an hour, to become a financial dominatrix after learning about it online. She dipped her toe into the industry in October 2022 alongside her lecturing work and went full-time in April 2023.

The ‘findom’ practice is where a submissive person gives money or financial control to a dominant partner. Lola said ‘it pays to be mean’ as she claims to have raked in £400,000 in the last three years ‘bullying’ fellas into handing over their cash.

But the self-professed ‘professional spoiled brat’ says she’s invested the cash wisely, splashing out £280,000 on an apartment within a year of being in the industry and sticking some in savings.

Lola said her partner is supportive of her career path, which included charging one bloke £1,000 for footage of her bare foot slapping against her flip flops.

The content creator says she finds her line of work ’empowering’ and believes it pays better than her law career ever could. Lola, of Solihull, West Midlands, said: “This is the best decision I’ve ever made. I don’t say that lightly, it’s been hard graft and it’s not for everyone.

“That [findom] ended up paying me more than what my job teaching law was going to do. I hated my PhD at the same time, as part of that PhD you have to teach law as well.

“It was soul destroying because it was £14.50 an hour and [there was] that realisation that even if I got my PhD you really struggle now to get a permanent contract at a university. I’ve always been very academic. I was thinking to myself ‘I’ve got to tell my mum that I’m quitting my job and law degree to go and do foot pictures and bully men on the internet’.

“It took me a while to take the plunge and go for it, it basically just took off. “Within a year I’d put my deposit down for an apartment. Before doing this, I was living at home with my mum and dad because I couldn’t afford to move out, it was such a proud achievement.”

She said she’s now got a car and “loads of savings and it’s amazing”. Lola added: When I started doing this I didn’t think it’d take off the way it did because it’s self-employment and it’s hard.

“All my holidays have been funded through it, such as Morocco and Colombia, all my festivals and my shoes and handbags are funded through it too. “The financial domination kink is like ‘look at me, I’m spending all of your money on a Chanel bag’.

“My partner is really supportive, I’m so lucky to have the partner that I’ve got. I’m not getting naked for money or having to flirt with these men or be nice and this is the money I’m making from it. I completely understand why some partners wouldn’t be.”

She claims her highest payment was during a single 20-minute video call when a bloke sent her £3,000. Lola said: “The clients in financial domination are financially submissive. It sounds wild but their whole kink is sending you money, it’s like a power dynamic. You’re basically being mean to them and there’s no nudity.

“Some people look at it and think it’s really exploitative but it’s a consensual exchange, they’re seeking it out and you discuss it before, budgets and everything else.

“It pays to be mean in this job. I come across as quite bratty because of my personality but there are other doms in the industry that are a lot softer.

“[One bloke] is obsessed with the sound of flipflops, it’s all he ever talks about. There’s a guy that messaged me that’s really into sock puppets on your hands.”

Alongside her regular work, Lola also teaches other women how to navigate the industry. She said: “It is mind boggling that I make way more than I could have ever dreamed of if I pursued the law route. I think the only thing that annoys me is that I didn’t do it sooner.

“Even the women I teach are shocked that you can monetise anything as a woman. It’s quite a dark thing to say but it’s quite empowering. This is still sex work but you’re in control and you don’t have to get naked.

“I’d always been so academic so it was quite scary. It’s not for everyone and it’s not a get-rich-quick scheme. This can be an amazing vehicle for women to change their life around.”
