Missing toddler Noah, 3, ‘will not reply to call’ as Suffolk police launch pressing search

Police have issued a warning that a missing three year old boy will not respond to his own name, as over 100 individuals have reportedly joined the search for him.
Noah was last spotted around 3pm on Tuesday afternoon (September 15) in Suffolk. It’s believed he ran off down an alleyway into a newbuild housing estate after a visit to the playground in Merriam Close, Brantham.
A large-scale search operation has been launched by the police for Noah, involving a helicopter and door-to-door enquiries in an effort to find the toddler. Over 100 people have also joined the search for him, but officers have cautioned that he will not respond to his name being called, according to the BBC.
He is described as white, with curly ginger hair, and was wearing a Bluey t-shirt, shorts, and white trainers at the time of his disappearance. Police have also confirmed that he is non-verbal, partially deaf, and autistic.
In a late update on Tuesday evening, a police spokesperson expressed their thanks for the public’s support.
Responding to the original Facebook post announcing the search for Noah, a spokesperson for Suffolk Constabulary said: “Thank you all for your comments, it is overwhelming to read the support people are offering.
“I apologise that we haven’t been able to reply sooner however I am sure you appreciate the volume of resources that are assisting with this and the sheer volume of contact from the public that our staff and officers are dealing with.
“As soon as there is any update, we will post on here. Thank you again.”
A representative for HM Coastguard stated: “We are assisting Suffolk Constabulary with an incident at Brantham by sending an HM Coastguard helicopter and Coastguard Rescue Teams from Felixstowe and Holbrook.”
