Love Island star Davide Sanclimenti’s girlfriend jailed after failing to declare Crypto revenue
Iris Rabaya Au has been jailed for 18 months after the 37-year-old failed to declare her massive £1.9 million Crypto income

Love Island star Davide Sanclimenti’s girlfriend has been jailed after she failed to declare her staggering £1.9 million Crypto income.
Iris Rabaya Au, 37, pleaded guilty to filing a false tax return. Au, from Orange County, California, bagged more than £1.95million connected to illicit funds from her ex-partner Adam Iza.
The 37-year-old’s ex called himself “The Godfather.” Au, a mum-of-two, was hit with an 18-month jail sentence on Monday. She has been ordered to cough up £1million. and will be forced to hand over assets such as luxury items including cars and designer handbags.
Au and Davide started dating back in 2024 after Davide’s 2020 Love Island win with fellow islander Ekin-Su.

Despite their fiery romance on the show the couple parted ways in January 2024 after an on-and-off relationship. Prior to meeting Davide, Azu was in a relationship with Iza, 26, a Crypto fraudster.
Despite the ordeal Davide has vowed to stay with his girlfriend Au. Iza, Au’s ex, pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy against rights, one count of wire fraud, and one count of tax evasion, back in January 2025.
Prosecutors stated Au created shell businesses and opened bank accounts in the names of companies following Iza’s instructions.

She is said to have used illegal cash funnelled into those accounts to pay off police officers, in mainly cash, for protection. Prosecutors added she also splashed the illegal cash on herself.
They stated Iza also used deputies to obtain court-authorised search warrants and confidential information targeting people with whom he had financial and personal disputes.
The funds were also allegedly used to buy or lease luxury properties, cars, jewellery and clothing and bankroll recreational spending. Authorities said Iza acquired around $16million ( £12million) in cryptocurrency.
More than $2.6million ( £1.9million) was transferred from various accounts into Au’s personal bank accounts between 2020 and 2023. Prosecutors said she willfully failed to declare the income to the Internal Revenue Service on her tax returns.

Prosecutors stated: “[Au] set up the financial infrastructure that enabled Adam Iza to move, spend, and conceal millions of dollars in fraud proceeds while she personally benefited from the wealth.
“Au concealed entities and income from her tax preparer and filed returns reporting only a small fraction of what she had actually received.
“Those were affirmative acts designed to prevent the IRS from learning the true extent of her income.”
Iza has remained in custody since 2024. He is set to appear in court again on October 5. The Crypto fraudster is serving a 15-year prison sentence due to his involvement in an attempted Bitcoin robbery and kidnapping back in August 2024.
