Fundraiser for mum ‘who had canine intercourse’ pulled as she claims ‘my husband framed me’

Friends of a mum accused of sexual relations with her family’s pet dog launched a fundraiser to help support her and her children, but it was soon pulled after making only £120

A fundraiser for a mum accused of having sex with her pet dog Ranger has been pulled after it only racked up a measly £120, with the woman claiming she was “framed” by her husband.

Malia Nummerdor, 38, has faced intense public ridicule after her husband allegedly caught her having sex with their pet while reviewing home security footage to see who was stealing from the coin jar. The mum of two seems to be unbothered by the charges as she was pictured grinning in her viral mugshot, and her Facebook profile is still very public.

Pals of the mum-of-two launched an online fundraiser to support her and her children, claiming that she had been set up by her spouse. However, the fundraiser has now been pulled having only raised around £120 of its $30,000 (£22,450) goal.

The fundraiser claimed that Malia and her sons’ “lives have been turned upside down following allegations against her that she maintains are untrue”. It continued that the family have been displaced from their Punta Gorda home in Florida, and that she has been hit with huge legal costs. It’s unclear if any of these claims are true.

It read: “Malia is facing serious allegations, and she needs experienced legal representation to ensure that she has the opportunity to fully address them through the proper legal process.

“This situation has also deeply affected her two young sons, who deserve privacy, stability, and as much normalcy as possible while the adults involved work through what comes next.

“Our hope is simply to give Malia one less thing to carry right now and remind her and her boys that they are not facing this alone.”

Police said Nummerdor was captured on home CCTV “partially nude” with her family dog, Ranger, “positioned in a manner consistent with sexual activity”.

Her husband Erik reportedly then shared the allegations on Facebook, which is when detectives contacted him. An investigation was then launched.

Malia was arrested on charges of Sexual Activity Involving Animals, a serious crime that carries a maximum penalty of up to 15 years behind bars. When interviewed by police, Nummerdor acknowledged the existence of the bedroom video but denied any sexual misconduct, telling officers she was “just petting the dog”.

She has been freed from jail after making bond. She is scheduled to appear in court on October 19 and has denied all charges.

Supporters have recently flooded her Facebook account with compliments on her recent photo updates and statuses. Followers greeted the accused mum with “alright hottie” before showering her with compliments including “so so pretty”, “beautiful as always”, “gorgeous eyes” and “you look pure and beautiful Malia” – a comment which has received 23 laughing reactions.

Her Facebook profile, which features pictures of her two sons and her husband – whom she married in 2023 – also features several photos of different dogs over the years, though authorities have not specified which animal was involved.

Sheriff Bill Prummell expressed complete disbelief over the allegations and Nummerdor’s demeanour during booking: “There are only a few times in my career that I have been at a loss for words. This is one of those times.

“I simply cannot comprehend this behavior. No animal should ever be subjected to this kind of conduct, and you can be sure that we will take action when we learn about it here in Charlotte County.

“And then to smile in the mugshot? I don’t know what there is to smile about when you’ve been arrested for something as disgusting as this.”
