Benidorm homicide probe as girl’s corpse dumped in subject after horror stabbing
Police have launched a murder probe in Benidorm after a woman was found to have been stabbed to death before being dumped in a field. Three arrests have been made

A man accused of stabbing his partner to death at their home in Benidorm has been arrested alongside two other people.
The man is alleged to have stabbed his 33-year-old partner before moving her body with the help of two others on Sunday night or Monday morning, according to police.
The woman’s body was reportedly found in a rural area of the municipality of Finestrat, in the Alicante province of Spain. Finestrat is located 12km from Benidorm on the Costa Blanca. Authorities said there was no known history of gender-based violence involving the woman and the suspect.

The three men arrested are aged 30, 40 and 45.
The victim’s partner was arrested on suspicion of homicide while the two others were arrested for their alleged participation in the cover-up of her death.
Details of where the stabbing happened have not been disclosed or the ages or nationalities of the couple.

The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to officially confirm the victim’s identity.
The three men will appear in court in Benidorm in due course.
In a message on the social network X, the Government Delegation against Gender Violence has said that it is collecting information on the murder which it described as “sexist violence against a woman in Alicante province”.
