Moment Hamas-supporting asylum seeker who known as for dying to Jews will get British teenagers to chant ‘Free Palestine’ – as he’s moved from taxpayer-funded home

Children have been filmed chanting ‘Free Palestine!’ for the TikTok feed of a small boat migrant who called for the deaths of all Jews.

The footage emerged after Abu Wadee, 34, was driven away from the taxpayer-funded home where he had been placed by the Home Office amid an outcry over his ongoing presence in Britain.

The Mail also obtained footage in Corby of Wadee posing on a purple and white bicycle, identical to the push bike seen outside the HMO in the Northamptonshire town, which the asylum seeker left in a taxi on Wednesday lunchtime.

His departure was watched by two Northamptonshire Police officers – and a man who identified himself as a housing officer seen earlier loading belongings into the car. 

Wadee was jailed last year after he was exposed by The Mail on Sunday as arriving in the UK in a small boat in March 2025.

Months before, he posted a video online calling for Allah to ‘kill (Jews) one by one… don’t leave a single one’.

In Gaza, he had been a member of the ‘tyre-burning unit’, a Hamas-affiliated militant outfit that threw fire bombs and rocks at Israeli border forces.

A source told the Mail that Wadee regularly shuttled between the property on the town’s Lloyds Estate, a garden suburb originally built in the 1930s to house workers at the nearby steelworks, and the town centre.

Following his release from prison in December, Wadee was housed at the property alongside three other migrants under the Home Office’s asylum dispersal scheme.

He was traced to the house earlier this week, claiming he no longer supported Hamas, had Jewish friends and wanted to stay in the UK. 

The videos show Wadee at the Willow Place Shopping Centre in Corby, around a mile-and-a-half from the HMO.

A retail worker near the TJ Hughes discount store outside where Wadee filmed the children said he had been seen at least twice in the adjacent plaza in recent weeks.

The shop worker added: ‘Both times I saw him he had a selfie-stick with him and appeared to be filming a live TikTok video. The last time I saw him was the week before last.’

The second video showed Wadee at the other end of the precinct, straddling his bicycle beside a zebra crossing.

A takeaway courier who was collecting a food delivery at a nearby restaurant also said he had seen Wadee outside another discount store on the precinct. 

He added: ‘I saw him a few days ago outside B&M. He had his phone out in front of him and was talking to it, as though he was livestreaming.’

The videos were among dozens of clips uploaded to the migrant’s now-deleted TikTok feed.

It is understood Home Office officials are now seeking to remove Wadee from the country.

On Wednesday, a man understood to be Wadee emerged from a side door of the property shortly after 12pm, wearing a hooded jacket, sunglasses and a baseball cap that obscured his face. 

He also carried a red umbrella, his ankle tag clearly visible beneath his three-quarter length trousers, and ducked below the window to avoid watching members of the press as the taxi pulled away.

The police left shortly afterwards, leaving the housing officer inside.

Locals today expressed their shock at living close to Wadee. One, a Ukrainian, said: ‘It’s shocking to hear that somebody who allegedly supported Hamas was living here. Russia and Hamas are very close. I’m just glad he has gone.’

Another said: ‘I never thought they would allow someone like this to live here.

‘I don’t know whether or not he has changed or what his situation is now but they should have looked into his background before he was allowed to live in a neighbourhood like this with families.

‘My son is just at the point where I’m allowing him to go to the shops on his own. If the guy still has those kind of views I wouldn’t want my son or other children to be influenced.’

Wadee was found in Corby after being tracked down by the Northamptonshire Telegraph, telling the paper’s Kate Cronin he no longer supported Hamas and had Jewish friends.

He claimed his support for Hamas had been given under duress, adding it was ‘eight years ago’.

Asked if he still supported the group, he told the reporter: ‘No, no, no. I love England, I love Corby.

‘Everyone knows that Hamas is a terrorist organisation that would kill us if we didn’t speak against the Jews while living there.’

Wadee’s TikTok account, which had about 20,000 followers, was deleted as of Wednesday afternoon.

His presence in Corby as a convicted criminal and illegal entrant to the UK led to calls for his immediate deportation.

But in newly unearthed videos reviewed by the Daily Mail, Wadee claims his human rights were being infringed by British authorities, saying no lawyer will help him to stay in the UK.

In one clip, showing off what appeared to be an ankle tag, he said: ‘I have not committed any crime or done anything wrong in Britain. They are punishing me. 

‘I didn’t come to cause trouble, and I haven’t caused any trouble. Unfortunately, I can’t find anyone to defend my rights. 

‘I can’t find lawyers or Palestinian or Arab embassies willing to stand with me here.’

The video did not include mention of his 2024 video in which he called for the deaths of Jews. 

However, he admitted he had been pictured posing with Kalashnikov assault rifles in Gaza.

‘My only issue is that I entered illegally, like many refugees around the world do when seeking asylum,’ he said.

The contents of the video, which was filmed in Arabic, were reviewed and confirmed for the Daily Mail by the Campaign Against Antisemitism.

A spokesman said today: ‘If Abu Wadei is being deported, then it’s not before time. The authorities have been far too slow to take action and have allowed Mr Wadei to make a mockery of our laws.

‘He should have been deported the moment he was convicted of immigration offences. In fact, when we wrote to the CPS calling for Abu Wadei to be charged with terrorism offences while he was still in custody, they refused.

‘Abu Wadei entered our country from Gaza illegally and unvetted, and was only prosecuted after we identified him when the authorities failed to do so. 

‘With the Home Secretary’s recent announcement that she will make it easier for other Gazans to settle in the UK with no strings attached, British Jews will rightly fear that more individuals like Abu Wadei may be allowed to roam free in our country.’

Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philp said it was a ‘joke’ Wadee continued to enjoy a taxpayer-funded home, and called for him to be sent back to Hamas-controlled territory.

And Labour MP for Corby Lee Barron said he was contacting Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood to seek Wadee’s ‘immediate deportation’.

A Government spokeswoman told the Mail last night: ‘Any foreign national who receives a prison sentence in the UK is referred for deportation at the earliest opportunity and will be barred from ever returning.

‘Over 11,000 foreign criminals including murderers and rapists have been returned or deported in the two years since the last election – a 41 per cent increase on the two years prior.’

The Home Office were contacted for further comment. 

A spokesman for Northamptonshire Police, said: ‘We can confirm police officers attended an address in Corby this morning in support of colleagues from a partner agency as they conducted a visit.’
