Shoppers looking to tackle condensation and excess moisture as temperatures drop can save 22% on a ‘brilliant’ award-winning dehumidifier in the Prime Day sale. The Pro Breeze OmniDry Dehumidifier is now up for grabs at £104.97, down from £134.99 in Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days sale.

Good Housekeeping-approved and rated ‘great value’ by Which?, the Pro Breeze dehumidifier uses a compressor to remove up to 12 litres of moisture per day. It has a two-litre water tank, alongside the option of continuous drainage using the included hose.

An automatic humidity sensor monitors the room and allows users to select their preferred humidity level between 30% and 80%. Once the desired level is reached, the appliance automatically switches off to help conserve energy. There are three modes – auto, continuous and sleep – as well as a 24-hour timer, while noise levels of less than 38dB make it suitable for use around the home without causing too much disruption.

The black 12L capacity dehumidifier with a built-in laundry mode (helping users dry their washing faster) is currently reduced to £104.97 – but there are various options for capacity, colour and other add-ons, for differing prices (all of which have been reduced in the Prime sale).

How much does the Pro Breeze OmniDry Dehumidifier cost to run?

Pro Breeze says running costs can be as low as 7p per hour, although this figure is based on October 2022 energy prices, so actual running costs will vary depending on a household’s current electricity tariff. Four wheels make it easier to move the compact dehumidifier between bedrooms, bathrooms and other areas where excess moisture might be a problem.

“A great little dehumidifier”

The Pro Breeze OmniDry Dehumidifier has racked up a 4.5 out of 5-star rating from Amazon shoppers. One person said: “Just the right size for my utility space, and castors are a useful addition to move the unit around to help dry laundry. Cheap to run and the fan is quiet, even on full. Humidity light indicators are a bonus. Overall, a great little dehumidifier.”

Another wrote: “First time using this today, and I was gobsmacked. The property I live in gets humid and has some mould issues. I purchased this after reading reviews and online research. When I first switched it on, the room humidity was 78. Within 30 minutes, the room humidity came down to 55. The tank was half full. The room smells fresher and less stuffy. It has a humming sound when on which isn’t noticeable its compact in size and on wheels which allows it to be moved around the property. I will be using it in the laundry room this week, so see the difference it makes in drying clothes. For anyone struggling with humidity, damp or mould, I highly recommend this.”

“I haven’t used my tumble dryer since”

A third agreed: “Brilliant – didn’t realise I have so much moisture in the house. It is a real eye-opener. Noise level is quiet and a good value for the price. I love the fact that it dries my clothes as well. I haven’t used my tumbler since I purchased it.”

Some disagreed slightly, with one person saying in a longer review: “Used this for about four days so far and it works very well. The downside to it is that the instrument panel is difficult to see. I bought the black model so it’s probably harder to see the symbols, shame they don’t light up.”

Another added: “Customers should know that this dehumidifier does a good job. However, they should also know that they (Pro Breeze) currently do not provide a replacement filter in any form should you damage it during cleaning.”
