One and done
I can’t get over an amazing woman I enjoyed a crazy weekend with in May. We were both staying in a county hotel. She was chilling out after a break up and I was stopping over during a solo motorbike tour.
We hit if off in the hot tub. We went up to her room and I didn’t leave again for 48 hours.
Having sex with her just seemed so right and we were fantastic together.
We used her sex toys and I loved that she allowed me to blindfold her.
Now I keep reliving our incredible time together. I can’t believe that we were naked and intimate and hot for each other. I’ve tracked her down on social media. I keep asking my mystery woman to meet up again but am failing to pin her down.
How do I get her to give me another chance?
JANE SAYS: You have to accept that this woman isn’t interested in taking your association any further. If you and she were meant to be together, then it would have happened by now. The fact is that she knows who you are and how to contact you yet is choosing to keep away.
She could be in a new relationship, or have children, or be feeling terribly guilty. I very much doubt if she gave you her full/true story during those crazy hours together.
It’s disappointing that she doesn’t care for a re-run, but these things happen. Don’t become a nuisance.
Pushing the envelope
I’ve told my mistress, a thousand times, that we have to keep our affair a secret, but she keeps giving the game away.
We work together and virtually everyone in the office knows about us. She does stupid things kissing me in front of our boss and leaving stuff (spare knickers etc) in my car.
More than once she’s ‘accidentally’ rung my home line rather than my mobile. I’m a nervous wreck. She knows that I won’t leave home until my daughter gets married in 2028 yet continues to push it.
She says she’s sorry and doesn’t think, but how do I make her realise that discretion is vital?
JANE SAYS: I suspect your mistress is feeling frustrated, angry, and used. No one would blame her for feeling impatient, especially if she craves a wedding of her own. I’m by no means condoning your affair, but I can certainly see where she’s coming from.
Surely you don’t honestly think you can carry on like this for two years.
You may not care to make a decision, but it’s got to be done. Do you tell your wife the truth in an attempt to save your marriage, or do you leave home, now, and start a new life with your lover?
Off piste
My boyfriend likes to pretend we’re flush. He’s just added our name to a list of couples who are going skiing in the New Year. Whenever I point out that we’re broke he snaps: “I’ll apply for another credit card”. How do I get him to accept just how bad things are for us?
JANE SAYS: It sounds as if your bloke is desperate to keep up with his friends but getting into further debt is no joke.
Tell him today that the skiing trip is a non-starter.
