It’s October already, which means thoughts are starting to turn towards Christmas shopping and the festive season ahead. For many pet owners, that also means thinking about how to include their four-legged friends in the celebrations as our dogs are part of the family too.

While it can be tempting to slip your dog a cheeky pig in blanket under the table during Christmas dinner, the high fat and salt content of festive foods can be harmful to them. Thankfully, they don’t have to miss out, as Pooch & Mutt has launched a luxury seasonal range made especially for our four-legged friends – and customers can currently get 15% off the collection.

Taking inspiration from classic festive flavours including gingerbread, turkey and cranberry, Pooch & Mutt’s Christmas edit puts a dog-friendly spin on seasonal favourites. Alongside an advent calendar to help them count down to Christmas, the range includes festive treats, dental chews, dinners and even bone broth gravy.

What’s more, the range is packed with healthy ingredients designed to boost pets’ wellbeing, including collagen for glossy skin and coats, plus postbiotics to support gut health. And for a limited time, anyone who uses the code AFXMAS15 can nab a 15% saving on their order.

Ideal for the Christmas countdown, the Gingerbread Advent Calendar is priced at £11.99, or £10.19 with the discount code. Behind each of the 24 doors are soft, meaty gingerbread-flavoured treats made with high-protein chicken, collagen, pumpkin for natural fibre and gut-friendly postbiotics, reports the Mirror.

An Advent Calendar & Selection Box Bundle for dogs, with mouthwatering festive flavours, including; 1 x Gingerbread Advent Calendar and a Selection Box with Beef Christmas Dinner Wet Food, Chicken Gravy Festive Bone Broth, Pigs in Blankets Meaty Treats, and Goose, Apple & Sage Dental Sticks.

The treats are also grain-free, making them perfect for dogs with delicate stomachs, while they’re also suitable for puppies, so even the newest members of the family can tuck in. Each door even contains two treats, making it perfect for households with two dogs, or for dividing between morning and evening as a little festive tradition.

One of the most budget-friendly items in the Pooch and Mutt range is the Christmas Advent and Selection Hamper, which costs £19.54 with the code, reduced from £22.99. The bundle includes an advent calendar, along with an assortment of treats and a meal which would cost shoppers around £30 if bought separately.

A range of festive treats for four-legged friends

As well as receiving a variety of the festive goodies and a delicious Christmas countdown, the gift box also features the exclusive Beef, Carrot and Parsnip Christmas Dinner. However, this doesn’t seem to be sold separately, but only as part of the bundle, which might let down some customers who were hoping to buy specific items or multiple dinners in this flavour.

Then there are the Goose, Apple and Sage Dental Sticks, created to promote oral care and digestion. Goose delivers high-quality protein, while apple provides natural fibre and the inclusion of sage is said to promote fresh breath, too.

Meanwhile the Pigs in Blankets Meaty Treats feature pork – another quality protein source – as well as collagen for healthy skin and a shiny coat. They also feature postbiotics, helping promote a balanced gut microbiome and comfortable digestion.

The Turkey and Cranberry Jerky is crafted with 90% turkey, while cranberries are known to support urinary tract health. But perhaps one of the more adaptable offerings is the Chicken Gravy Bone Broth, made with a whopping 97% chicken broth.

This can be drizzled over your pet’s Christmas dinner or frozen into ice moulds for a refreshing treat. Alongside collagen, it also contains hemp oil, linked with calming and relaxation, as well as apple cider vinegar, which offers extra support for skin and coat health.

Pooch and Mutt isn’t the only pet food brand launching their festive range. Over at Forthglade, they’re offering a hefty 30% off their collection, which includes their Christmas Wet Food Variety Pack, Three Bird Feast Treats and Turkey and Cranberry soft bites.

Meanwhile, Lily’s Kitchen has priced their advent calendar for dogs at £10.50, while their wider festive selection features festive jerky, a Christmas dinner and a tin of meaty treats. The latter will set you back £18 and includes three different types of seasonal treats, all housed in a reusable tin for storage.

Back at Pooch and Mutt, the festive range always proves a hit with pet parents and their furry friends. While reviews for the newest flavours for 2026 are yet to come in, last year’s bundle offer bagged a stellar 4.9 star rating from shoppers – particularly those with picky pups.

My Yorkie ‘begged for more’

One customer raved: “My very fussy frenchie will only eat Pooch and Mutt. She’s 5 and had various health problems and her stomach has been fine since being on these products and she can’t get enough of the treats. We have had the advent calendar and the Christmas dinners before so when I saw it in a bundle I couldn’t wait to get it, what a bargain and she was I’ll love getting her special treat everyday, great products we won’t have anything else.”

Another said: “My dog is very fussy so sometimes it’s hard to give him new treats as he only likes the same ones. I gave him the advent calendar one and he loved it! He even started scratching the box because he wanted more. I would definitely recommend. He also has skin allergies and gets a bad stomach if he eats something that irritates it. With these treats he didn’t get any of that.

One customer did suggest an improvement however, noting: “I ordered the treat hamper with the doggy advent calendar in. It was really good and the contents were great. Lots of treats in there, so it was definitely worth the money. The only thing to improve it would be, to be able to send a personalised message with it. I was sending this to a friend for her dog. On the website when I ordered this there wasn’t any option to do this, which was a shame, but the actual box and the contents are great.”

Another five-star review read: “We have fussy little yorkie and she refused so many treats. I bought her Christmas bundle and I gave her couple treats and she begged for more so I will definitely buy more treats in the future.”
