Trump Dishes About What He Likes At McDonald’s In The Strangest Way Possible

President Donald Trump on Monday revealed one of his favorite items on the McDonald’s menu, complete with an unexpected sound effect. But he also shared a small complaint about it.

In a meandering speech to McDonald’s execs at the company’s Impact Summit in Washington, Trump spoke about everything from how often he washes his hands to renaming the Gulf of Mexico to recounting the airstrikes on Iran he ordered over the summer. Eventually, he got around to addressing his love of the company’s food.

“I like the fish,” he said, referring to the Filet-O-Fish sandwich, then made an odd sound effect and gestured with his hand. “I like it.”

But Trump did have one suggestion.

“You could do a little bit more tartar sauce, though, please,” he said. “Seriously.”

Trump loves fast food, especially McDonald’s, and did a photo op at a franchise location during the 2024 presidential campaign. He also served heaps of fast food to the Clemson Tigers when they visited the White House in 2019 to celebrate their championship:

Last month, Republican National Committee chair Joe Gruters spilled the beans about Trump’s meal preferences during the campaign.

“He had hot fries waiting for him from McDonald’s … And then he had a Filet-O-Fish, a Quarter Pounder, and a Big Mac, and I think he combined two of them,” Gruters said.

During the 2016 campaign, Trump reportedly enjoyed a slightly different combo: two Big Macs, two Filet-O-Fish sandwiches and a chocolate milkshake, according to the book “Let Trump Be Trump” by Trump insiders Corey Lewandowski and David Bossie.
