While You Were Sleeping: Here Are The 239 Words Trump Posted After Midnight
President Donald Trump spent part of his Sunday evening posting and reposting a series of over-the-top messages, including attacks on Democratic lawmakers, certain Republicans, and the filibuster.
One message shared by the president on his Truth Social website called for military tribunals because “the justice system has been corrupted.” Several called for jail for Democratic veterans in Congress who urged members of the military to disobey unlawful orders.

And at 12:15 a.m., he posted a lengthy message pressuring the Supreme Court to rule on the “urgent and time sensitive matter” of his tariffs, insisting that the “full benefit” of them hasn’t arrived yet.
Trump also appeared to have started to sign off with his title and name, as he often does, but stopped abruptly with “President.”

Trump’s extensive tariffs are the subject of a case pending before the Supreme Court.
If the ruling goes against him ― and there’s been some indication that the justices are skeptical of his argument ― he could be forced to refund tariffs already paid, which he warned in another social media post would cost the country $2 trillion.
It’s not clear how he arrived at that number, but he did say the justices were given “the wrong numbers” when the case was argued earlier this month.
