Edinburgh Airport grounds all flights after main points causes air visitors failure

Edinburgh Airport has been forced to ground all flights due to a major issue as passengers have been warned. The airport announced on social media: “Due to an IT issue with our air traffic control provider, no flights are currently operating from Edinburgh Airport.

“Teams are working on the issue and will resolve as soon as possible.” The airport also urged passengers to get in touch with their airlines to receive the latest information on their flights. Passengers should contact their airline for the latest information on their flight.”

It is understood the issue is not linked to the Cloudflare outage.

Cloudflare has crashed, causing a ripple effect that’s brought down numerous websites worldwide. X, Substack, Canva – and even Down Detector are among the casualties of the massive internet blackout.
