A Russian millionaire has died after his Lamborghini overturned on a motorway and burst into flames. Alexei Dolgikh, aged 36, was reportedly driving his £329,000 luxury vehicle at a speed of 93mph with three friends when he lost control and crashed into a barrier in Moscow.
The Moscow Prosecutor’s Office reported to The Sun: “According to preliminary information, at night on International Highway, the driver of a Lamborghini hit an obstacle, after which the vehicle overturned and caught fire.
“As a result of the accident, two young guys were killed, two more were hospitalised with injuries.
“One of the victims has an open leg fracture, the second also has multiple fractures, he was taken to the Botkin hospital.”
“The causes and all the circumstances of the accident are being clarified.”
His death follows the revelation of the brutal murder and dismembering of crypto tycoon Roman Novak, 38, and his former TV reporter wife Anna, 37, whose severed remains were found in the desert in Dubai.
Two fighters from Putin’s war in Ukraine and an ex-murder squad detective — all Russian — have been detained over the slaughter of the Novaks.
Dolgikh was driving his £329,000 Lamborghini Urus rammed into a crash barrier at 93mph.
The car turned upside down and caught fire, with parts of the car flying over a bridge.
The crypto businessman and one of three passengers, Ivan Solovyov, died on the spot.
Two other Nikita Tezikov, 21, and Kirill Mochalov, 22, were rushed to hospital with critical injuries.
Cash was strewn on the roadway.
