A woman was hit by a car in a UK street in a major police incident This morning (November 12).
Greater Manchester Police says a 26-year-old woman suffered serious injuries after being hit by the car.
Emergency services were called out to Summerville Road in Salford at around 4.10am.
A GMP spokesperson said: “Police attended Summerville Road, Salford, following reports of a serious assault involving a motor vehicle.
“A 26-year-old female victim sustained multiple injuries after being struck by a car. She is currently in hospital receiving treatment and is in a serious condition.
“A 25-year-old male suspect was arrested at the scene and is also in hospital under police supervision. The incident is believed to be domestic-related.
“A scene remains in place on Summerville Road, and enquiries are ongoing.”
