The WAGs of the Serbian national team stars could steal the show in their World Cup qualifying match against England
England host Serbia in their penultimate 2026 World Cup qualifying match, two months after routing the country 5-0 in their homeland.
The Three Lions secured their place in next year’s competition following their 5-0 victory over Latvia last month which saw them retain their 100% win rate in Group K. Serbia sit third in the group and are just a point off Albania in what will be two hugely important games that will decide their World Cup participation.
While Thomas Tuchel’s side will have the home advantage in tonight’s clash, Serbia’s stars will certainly have the support of their WAGs.
From a fashion model who has walked the catwalk in New York and Milan to a singer whose father was a warlord, here are a selection of Serbia’s partners.
Sofija Milosevic
The stunning Serbian fashion model is the long-term partner of AEK Athens star Luka Jovic. The pair have been coupled up since 2019 with the blonde beauty a household name in the modelling industry.
Milosevic, 34, has graced the catwalks at fashion shows while having worked for luxury brands such as Diesel and Jeremy Scott in Milan and New York. It was last year when she attended a Versace show in the Italian city.
Prior to her romance with the ex-Real Madrid and AC Milan striker, Milosevic had been in an relationship with ex-Serbia midfielder Adem Ljajic, who previously turned out for Serie A sides such as Fiorentina and Roma.
Milosevic and Jovic share two children together, sons Aleksej (born 2020) and Teodor (born 2022).
Vanja Bogdanovic
A native of Belgrade, Vanja Bogdanovic is currently living it up in Turin thanks to her relationship with Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic.
It is believed that the couple have known each other since their teenage years but had broken up their romance before reuniting with each other.
Not one to post his personal life on social media, the 25-year-old made an exception in April last year when celebrating his partner’s girlfriend by posting a loving message for her birthday.
Sharing a photo of them embracing during a trip to the Paris, also known as the City of Love, Vlahovic captioned the snap: “I love you.”
Anja Popovic
Having dated Nottingham Forest defender Nikola Milenkovic since 2015, Anja Popovic has been loved up with the Serbia international since their teenage years.
Photos of them together on social media can be traced back to the 28-year-old’s time with boyhood club Partizan.
She accompanied the 6ft5in centre back to Italy when he signed for Fiorentina in 2017.
After seven years in Florence, the pair made the move to Nottingham in 2024 where Milenkovic has been an integral cog in Forest’s starting XI.
Despite keeping a fairly low presence on social media with just over 1,500 followers on Instagram, Popovic has shown glimpses of the WAG life she leads such as posting photos from holidays in Dubai.
Kristina Mitrovic
The wife of Serbia’s all-time leading scorer, Aleksandar Mitrovic. Kristina got hitched to the Al Rayyan striker in 2021 after dating for seven years.
Their romance was sparked during Mitrovic’s time at Anderlecht which preceded the couple spending the next eight years in England thanks to the Serbia captain’s stints with Newcastle and Fulham.
They moved to Saudi Arabia in 2023 with Mitrovic signing for Al-Hilal in a £50million deal but spent just two years there before signing for the Qatar Stars League side in September.
The pair have three children together. Their first son was born in 2016 two daughters followed.
Anastasia Gudelj
The Serbian model and singer got hitched to Sevilla star Nemanja Gudelj in 2023 but has quite the storied past herself.
She is the daughter of legendary Serbian singer Ceca and former warlord and mobster Arkan, who was assassinated in 2000 after being shot five times.
He reigned as the head of the feared Serb paramilitary force called the Serb Volunteer Guard during the Yugoslav Wars but died a month before Anastasia turned two years old.
Now 27, she’s carved out a career for herself in entertainment and business as she’s the founder of a cosmetics company.
She had been dating Gudelj for a year before they got hitched and regularly shows off her husband on Instagram where she has over one million followers.
