Ally Pally wasp brutally murdered by full-time vet star who ‘places it in his pocket’

The iconic Ally Pally wasp has been brutally murdered after new darts cult hero put it in his pocket.

David Munyua made history as the first Kenyan player to play in the World Championship when he took on the 2024 World Grand Prix winner and world No.18 Mike De Decker.

While he has announced himself on the big stage in one of the most chaotic games ever at the Ally Pally, he also claimed a victim in the form of the Ally Pally wasp.

David Munyua is a new hero of darts, but not to the wasp

After having seven perfect darts attempting to hit the first nine-darter of this year’s tournament, Munyua miscounted on his checkout, allowing De Decker to steal the leg. To further compound his frustration, the Ally Pally wasp landed under Munyua’s eye.

The Kenyan flapped about as the cameras cut away. But the PDC’s X account posted some breaking news moments later, saying: “MUNYUA HAS JUST KILLED THE ALLY PALLY WASP AND PUT IT IN HIS POCKET!!”

To add yet another crazy edge to the story, Munyua is a full-time vet and revealed he has never been outside of Africa before this year’s tournament.

The incredible game cannot possibly be played down. It was without doubt one of the greatest games ever seen in the tournament as the African qualifier came from 2-0 down in sets to win 3-2.
