Lush shoppers were left raging after website crashes during Boxing Day sale

Lush customers were left furious after the retailer’s website crashed for the second year running during its annual Boxing Day sale.

The beauty giant, which operates across the UK, typically runs a massively sought-after 50% off promotion on December 26. One frustrated shopper vented on the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK: “Had stuff ready in my basket and wishlist ready just in case, couldn’t check out even though everything was in stock.

“It’s now emptied everything and I can’t load anything. Nightmare.” Another furious customer posted: “I had a basket full ready to checkout now error 404 sure by the time it works what I wanted will be out of stock”, reports Birmingham Live.

A third disgruntled buyer declared: “I give up website is a joke had a basket full now it’s crashed with error 404 app is the same.”

One exasperated shopper revealed: “Spent hours early morning putting things in basket for 45 mins to try and check out then things sold out again having to update then wait again.

“After 2 hours gave up WHAT a shambles, worst website I’ve ever used.”

Yet another irate customer complained: “I wouldn’t bother as the website is not working. I have been trying to pay for an hour …. and now my basket has just gone.

“They do this every year… their site is not up to much.”

And one more added: “You would have thought lush would have sorted their app out by now… every Boxing Day it’s the same. It won’t let me add anything to the basket.”
