BREAKING: Alan Brazil compelled off talkSPORT with well being scare as assertion made reside on air

Alan Brazil had to end his presenting shift on talkSPORT early after feeling unwell during the live broadcast.

The former Manchester United and Scotland star had been carrying out his normal duties presenting his show with ex-Aston Villa forward and England international Gabriel Agbonlahor. Two-and-a-half hours into the show, the pair cut to a commercial break.

However, when Agbonlahor returned to the studio, Brazil was nowhere to be heard. It was then the ex-Villa captain offered a short statement explaining the 66-year-old had become unwell and would not be returning to the studio for the rest of the show.

Agbonlahor said: “You’re listening to the talkSPORT Breakfast with me, Gabby. Big Alan Brazil is feeling a bit poorly, but he’ll be back as soon as he can.”

The ex-Premier League forward was then joined by Katie Shanahan, who had been on the airwaves this morning, presenting talkSPORT’s Early Breakfast show between 5am and 6am.

In case viewers were worried about the condition of the iconic radio presenter and pundit, Shanahan reassuringly said: “Alan Brazil is currently feeling a bit poorly but don’t worry listeners, he’s okay.”
