Sacked Christian Horner is set to tell all about his 20-year stint as boss of Red Bull in Formula One in a “world-first speaking tour” in Australia next month. The team chief was axed last summer after a decline in form for the former world champs and nearly two years of internal conflict that included a sexting scandal.

Horner, 51, was cleared of the allegations twice after a private independent investigation into alleged “coercive behaviour” towards an anonymous female employee.

The day after the initial accusations were thrown out and on the eve of the curtain-raising race in Bahrain in the 2024 season, a dossier of texts and photographs were leaked to key figures and journalists in F1.

The bombshell leaks included messages of a sexual nature and requests for images from an unnamed colleague, casting a shadow over the future of his job and his marriage to former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell at the time.

An appeal to the original findings was launched, but the Red Bull probe again cleared him of wrongdoing, and at the time, he said he was “relieved” to put the scandal behind him.

Now Horner – who helped his team win six World Constructors’ Championship titles – is ready to lift the lid on his career ahead of this season’s Australian Grand Prix.

He said: “These shows are an exciting opportunity for me to unpack my career so far and provide insights and perspectives on the cusp of another exciting F1 Championship.

“Formula One is an extraordinary world but it’s also unforgiving and all-encompassing.

“I’m privileged to have spent a large part of my life in the centre of that furnace and I’m looking forward to sharing and reflecting on some of the big moments that have shaped who I am today.”

The three events are being presented by Oz entertainment kingpins TEG Dainty with the first show in Melbourne on February 24, followed by Sydney two days later and Perth on March 2.
