A woman has reportedly been sexual assaulted “multiple times” as a man allegedly touched himself on a train.
British Transport Police have now released an image from CCTV of a man they are looking to speak with in connection with the incident on August 20, last year.
The incident is reported to have happened at around 8am on the Elizabeth Line from Reading to Abbey Wood as a man boarded the train at Maidenhead.
The man approached the woman and reportedly sexually assaulted her multiple times on the journey. He was also allegedly seen touching himself on the train. He left the train at West Drayton.
In a statement, British Transport Police said :”Detectives investigating a sexual assault on board an Elizabeth Line train from Reading to Abbey Wood have released this image in connection.
“Just after 8am on Wednesday 20 August 2025, a man boarded the train at Maidenhead and approached a woman.
“He sexually assaulted her multiple times throughout the journey and was seen touching himself inappropriately before leaving the train at West Drayton.
“Detectives believe the man in the image may have information which could help their investigation.
“The man is also believed to have information relating to two similar incidents, one on an Elizabeth Line train from Slough to West Drayton railway station on Tuesday 18 November, and one at Slough railway station on Friday 25 July.
“Anyone who recognises the man is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 196 of 20 August.
