In case you missed it, at about five minutes or so into the 13-minute extravaganza at San Francisco’s Levi’s Stadium, the final moments of a wedding ceremony were depicted in front of crowds. A smiling officiant declared the couple married, and the husband and wife, both clad in white, sealed their vows is a kiss.

They were then circled by smiling dancers and musicians, and once the couple and surrounding celebrations broke away, Lady Gaga was revealed.

Gaga was backed by Los Sobrinos, a Puerto Rican salsa band who played on Bad Bunny’s Grammy Award-winning sixth album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos, and with the Latin star at his Puerto Rican residency.

They played part of Gaga’s “Die With a Smile” before Bad Bunny joined the scene for his hit “Baile Inolvidable.” Bunny – real name Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio – danced amid the wedding guests and the embracing couple.

After the show, his representative confirmed that the couple had actually been wed during the performance. The unnamed husband and wife had invited Bad Bunny to their wedding, but he had instead suggested they take part in his halftime show.

There was a real cake and the rapper and singer acted as the witness for their marriage certificate. As for other witnesses, well, there are the millions who watched on around the world. Bad Bunny has been tipped to have one of the most-watched halftime shows in Super Bowl history.
