Many of Katie Price’s followers initially believed her marriage to Lee Andrews was a prank, but a shocking new video has now confirmed the truth. The 47-year-old stunned her family last month when she revealed she’d tied the knot for the fourth time with the businessman, 43 – whom she’d only met a week prior.
Donning a petite white peep-hole dress from Shein and a Vegas-style hairdo, Katie flaunted her wedding and new beau in Dubai on Instagram through startling photos that left her loved ones shocked.
Following her announcement, some of the star’s fans criticised the surprising union, with numerous people labelling the wedding a publicity stunt.
However, a signed marriage certificate and a jaw-dropping video of Price legally marrying Lee has now been leaked to The Sun, showing the mother-of-five in a Dubai registry office – casually dressed in jeans, an oversized jumper and trainers. In the footage, Katie, looking quite different from her glamorous wedding photos shared on social media, is seen holding hands with Lee as she formalises the marriage.
She was heard saying: “I do” in front of the registrar. Lee, also sporting trainers, maintains his gaze on his new wife as the pair finalise their vows in the UAE, where Lee has resided for years, reports the Mirror. It follows Katie’s daughter, Princess, confessing her mum was “crazy” after her wedding announcement, but poignantly recognised she had been “let down” so many times by people previously.
The star of the Princess Diaries, 18, enjoys a tight relationship with Katie, who left her family worried when she disclosed she’d tied the knot for the fourth time. Word of the ceremony has devastated Katie’s sister, Sophie, after she shared a heartfelt post about “pain” and “coming to your senses” following the model’s impulsive marriage.
The Pricey’s mates are also anxious, with sources indicating they believe Lee – who still hasn’t returned to the UK since the wedding – has “brainwashed”” the star after her shocking pregnancy announcement.
Nevertheless, the Pricey is dismissing the concerns and hinted at a massive UK wedding party on Instagram on Saturday (February 21), asking her followers to vote for what type of dress she should wear.
Her sister, Sophie, who Katie previously recorded her weekly podcast with, has voiced worry for her elder sibling on social media.
Sharing a video, which outlined the intricacies of family relationships, she posted: “So there’s two major things I say to families, one is you have a decision to make.
“There’s two rational choices and one irrational one.
“The rational choice is – number one, what you doing causes me so much pain and so much stress, I can’t be with it.”
However, Princess expressed that she simply wants her mum to be happy, revealing the “heartache” the star has endured after “so many people have done her wrong”.
