Peter Mandelson has been arrested and has been pictured being led away from his house by police.
Cops were spotted arriving at his home this afternoon (February 23) before the ex-ambassador left in an unmarked car. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Officers have arrested a 72-year-old man on suspicion of misconduct in public office.
“He was arrested at an address in Camden on Monday, 23 February and has been taken to a London police station for interview. This follows search warrants at two addresses in the Wiltshire and Camden areas.”
The Labour grandee is accused of leaking sensitive government intelligence to paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Cops were seen at one of the 72-year-old’s properties earlier this month.
