EXCLUSIVE: Trump’s bizarre war of words with the Pope has led one security expert to claim the Orange Manbaby “has gone round the bend” and “men in white coats should come to the White House”
Donald Trump has been branded “insane” after he shared a bizarre AI-generated image depicting himself as Jesus Christ. The Orange Manbaby posted the “unhinged” photo on social media after an unholy war of words erupted with the Pope.
The peace-loving president launched a blistering attack on the head of the Catholic Church after the pontiff called for an end to the war in the Middle East and blasted world leaders who “sacrifice every value” for their own egos.
Trump hit back in a lengthy rant about Pope Leo XIV in which he said he branded him “weak on crime, weak on nuclear weapons” and even said he preferred his brother, who is “all MAGA”.
Security expert Professor Anthony Glees said: “Most of us now think the men in white coats should have removed Trump from the Oval Office many months ago. Trump’s attack on the Holy Father, who leads the world’s 1.4 billion Roman Catholics, is beyond loopy.
“Trump is not only jealous of Leo XIV’s popularity, he clearly loathes the message of peace that Leo delivers with grace and humility. One explanation is, of course, that he is actually insane.
“It simply doesn’t make sense to attack the Pope. In lunatic asylums around the world, there are countless inmates who will try to convince you, if you listen to them, that they’re not actually barmy, they’re Jesus Christ.”
Prof Glees said the bitter feud could split Trump’s predominantly Christian MAGA base and cause tension between him and his Catholic Vice President JD Vance, who famously met Pope Francis just days before his death last year.
He added: “But more than that, Melania Trump is a Catholic; her boy Barron was baptised as a Catholic. She is a devout Catholic, as she told Pope Francis in 2017 when she was granted an audience in the Vatican.
“Trump, who bangs on about ‘respect’ for him all the time, is not only disrespecting the mild and gentle Holy Father in Rome, as well as Vance and Rubio, two of his closest agents, but he’s savaging his clever and self-possessed wife and their son and his son Barron.
“We shouldn’t forget that there are 77m Catholics in the USA; they’re the largest single religious group. 50-54% voted for Trump in 2024. 54% are White and 36% are Hispanic, folk Trump really relies on for support.
“Add the post of Trump as Jesus Christ, raising the dead it seems, set it alongside his Arc de Trump and you begin to see that the orange king in the White House has gone round the bend.”
