The ‘world’s sexiest athlete’ Alica Schmidt teased her million of followers on social media by posting a snap that none of her fans were supposed to see in a very honest admission
Alica Schmidt, who has been dubbed the ‘world’s sexiest athlete,’ teased her fans on social media by posting a number of snaps that her followers weren’t supposed to see.
The track and field star, 27, has grown a huge following on social media to 5.3million thanks to her success on track and her stunning good looks. With so many eyes on her posts it’s no surprise that Alica is picky with what she uploads.
But in her latest post the German star followed a new trend by posting the outtakes of her recent photo snap sessions. For every perfectly chosen glamorous snap was another forgotten pose that she didn’t deem good enough.

Posting the pictures on Instagram, Alica added the caption: “What people get to see vs. what’s also the reality. Just a reminder that we only share the highlights not the whole story”.
In the first picture, Alica posed in black bikini bottoms and a black Brazil t-shirt, sporting sunglasses and a coconut. To which she wrote: “The picture 5 million people saw.”
Her next upload was her sitting hunched over at the beach unbeknown a picture was being taken of her as she looked confused up at her snapper while turning her phone around to ask for an opinion on a picture. Adding over it: “The picture no one got to see.”
The trend continued with her caught unaware by the timing of a photo on snowy mountains, staring into the sun hunched over, and a picture Alica ‘didn’t feel comfortable about’ as she sat eating an outdoor breakfast.
Alica finished off the post with a glamourous sunkissed pose of her wearing her track gear with the message: “A picture is only a picture.” Before swiping to the next snap to show her sticking two fingers up at the camera with a fed-up expression, on which she had written: “It never captures all the perspectives.”
Her fans in the comments lapped up her honest post, with one user saying: “Ooooo what a great post!! Love it!”
A second wrote: “Thank you for sharing alica,” a third added: “I love the second ones even more.” While another said: “I love all of them.”
