RedPeach is cracking down on fake women online

A content creator platform has banned sex robots in the wake of the ‘chatters’ scandal – to protect fellas from being sweet-talked by fake women.

Marco Cally, who is CEO and co-founder of premium content platform RedPeach, makes all content creators pass facial recognition software tests before chatting with users.

If a content creator isn’t approved by the software, they’re unable to interact with subscribers. The 40-year-old claims this weeds out so-called ‘chatters’ – AI software and outsourced staff who mimic creators.

In July 2024, a US class-action lawsuit was launched against a content platform and several creator-management companies, accusing them of using ‘chatters’.

It was filed on behalf of users who pay to communicate directly with content creators but claim they were instead communicating with ‘chatters’ impersonating the content creator. However the judge dismissed it, ruling it didn’t hold up in court.

A recent High Court case revealed the world of agencies using ‘chatters’ to keep conversation, and revenue, flowing for content creators.

Marco says the verification software ensures fellas are protected from ’emotional scams’ and enjoy genuine human interactions with the women they subscribe to.

Marco said: “It’s a big problem verifying information online and have read about men being victims of emotional scams.

“We’ve heard of class-action lawsuits in America on behalf of consumers who thought they were communicating with content creators but claimed they were actually talking to ‘chatters’.

“We have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to AI bots, we ensure genuine interactions – no agencies, no bots, no fakes.

“As soon as creators log in and want to have a private chat with a fan they have to use mobile phone facial recognition technology.

“If they get approved they can chat with the fan but if they’re not approved they can’t. We’re doing as much as we can with technology to ensure genuine interactions.”

Thanks to the software they employ, Marco claims RedPeach is a ‘platform of tomorrow’.

Marco said: “We protect men from chatters and promise that if you pay to interact with a content creator, you get to see and chat to that content creator.
