British Airways has reduced flights to seven Middle East destinations including Dubai, Doha and Tel Aviv, amid the ongoing conflict in the region, with changes affecting its summer 2026 schedule.
British Airways has announced significant updates to its flight schedule, impacting seven major international destinations. The changes, which apply to the Summer 2026 season ending on October 24, have been made in response to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
As a result, the airline has reduced its services to seven cities in the region. Notably, flights to Dubai will be scaled back from three daily flights to just one, with the daily service set to resume on August 1 and a second daily flight planned for October 16.
Additionally, flights to Doha, Riyadh, and Tel Aviv will be reduced from twice-daily to once-daily, with normal frequency expected to resume on August 1. Services to Bahrain and Amman have been paused for the remainder of the summer season, with a scheduled restart on October 25.
Following a comprehensive review, British Airways has also made the decision to permanently discontinue its Jeddah route, effective April 24.
In a statement, the airline explained: “Due to the ongoing situation in the Middle East, we have made further changes to our flying schedule to provide greater clarity for our customers.”, reports the Express.
“We are keeping the situation under constant review and are directly in touch with affected customers to offer them a range of options.
“Since the disruption began, we have helped thousands of customers return home, operated relief flights, and added additional capacity on key longhaul routes. We will continue to assess and introduce further flying where possible.”
The airline has reduced flight services to the following cities:
1. Tel Aviv
2. Dubai
3. Doha
4. Riyadh
5. Bahrain
6. Amman
7. Jeddah
