Kim Jong Un sparks WW3 panic by unleashing AI-controlled missiles for the primary time

Kim Jong Un has sparked WW3 fears by testing new AI-guided missiles and nuclear-capable artillery to prepare North Korea’s forces for ‘modern warfare’

Kim Jong Un has sparked fears of a third World War after North Korea unleashed artificial intelligence-guided missiles for the first time. The dictator personally oversaw the chilling launches, with state media boastfully claiming he was left highly “satisfied with the results.”

The tests featured a terrifying array of advanced weapons systems. Among them was a nuclear-capable cruise missile that the warmongering despot has vowed to deploy right on the border of neighbouring South Korea.

According to the Korean Central News Agency, the drills featured high-tech ballistic missiles fitted with a “special mission warhead” engineered for devastating battlefield nuclear strikes.

Pyongyang also fired off 240mm rocket artillery upgraded with “ultra-precision” navigation hardware.

State mouthpieces bragged that the automated launch systems and high-tech weapons had successfully been upgraded to “suit the proper conditions of modern warfare so as to enhance their application to combat”.

Following the success of the tests, the Supreme Leader demanded his forces aggressively modernise their artillery so “no one can match” their destructive strength.

The terrifying escalation comes just 24 hours after South Korean military intelligence detected a barrage of projectiles, including at least one close-range ballistic missile, fired into western waters.

Seoul officials confirmed the missile flew roughly 50 miles (80km) before splashing down, though they remained tight-lipped on the other weapons involved in the high-stakes launch.

Kim has rapidly accelerated his atomic and missile capabilities ever since his high-stakes summit with President Donald Trump spectacularly collapsed in 2019.

The rogue state leader has taken an increasingly aggressive stance against South Korea, officially branding them his nation’s “most hostile enemy” and completely severing historic diplomatic ties.

Earlier this year, a furious Kim sparked global panic by warning he could “completely destroy” South Korea, chillingly adding that the “complete collapse” of the country “cannot be ruled out”.

Just last week, the tyrant held an emergency huddle with military top brass to discuss reinforcing frontline units in an ominous bid to transform the tense border into “an impregnable fortress”.

The AI-guided missile tests are just the latest in a string of aggressive military stunts from the Hermit Kingdom.

Last month, Kim watched on as Pyongyang launched two strategic cruise missiles and three anti-ship missiles from its brand-new, 5,000-tonne class destroyer, the Choe Hyon.

In recent years, Kim has pivoted away from the West, instead choosing to build a terrifying alliance with Vladimir Putin’s Russia.

North Korea has already dispatched thousands of frontline troops and massive shipments of ammunition to aid Moscow’s brutal war in Ukraine.

He has also worked overtime to deepen ties with China, North Korea’s primary economic lifeline, as he tries to forge a united front against Washington.

While Donald Trump has dropped heavy hints that he wants to restart personal diplomacy with Kim, the North Korean dictator has cold-shouldered the offers.

Pyongyang insists that Washington must completely drop demands for nuclear disarmament before any peace talks can begin.
