A woman has been charged over a wild kindergarten graduation brawl after a disagreement over chairs became physical leaving one parent in hospital needing stitches.

Jessica Anderson, 28, has been charged with assault after the woman allegedly yanked the hair of another 26-year-old woman during the wild frenzy. A mad scrap kicked off last Thursday near some chairs inside the Queen of Apostles School hall in Toledo, Ohio.

Anderson has been the only person charged for the frenzy but despite this she claimed: “I wasn’t the aggressor.” The woman also added the viral video does not portray the full picture of the all-out-brawl which happened inside the school. Anderson said: “I removed her from the pile, and then her arm fell into a chair.”

“Then we were surrounded by people and she was hitting me. I didn’t know what was happening, so I started swinging back.”

The viral row was triggered after an alleged disagreement was sparked over seating. Thankfully there were no children inside the assembly hall while the brawl unfolded.

In the chaotic footage Anderson allegedly grabbed the hair of Craig Mays’ ex-partner before the brawl continued. Before the allegedly snag Anderson was seen throwing insults at parents who tried to grab some of the seats Anderson was accused of hording.

Mays’ ex-partner has claimed he tried to calm Anderson down but only got a handful of seconds in before he was ambushed. He said: “Her whole family in the first two rows just stands up, five guys, five girls just all stand up, and as I’m arguing with Jessica, I literally don’t remember anything.”

“I just know I was sucker punched. Once I was taken to the ground, it was probably 4 or 5 other guys on top of me trampling me, punching me, kicking me in the head.”

Mays added: “She [Anderson] grabbed “my kid’s mom by her hair, pulled her away from me stop punching her face then maybe five or six other girls just came and trampled her and was just stomping her kicking her in the face.”

An affidavit obtained by WTOL 11 later revealed a woman required stitches and was admitted to hospital due to her injuries.

Anderson has since been arrested and charged with felonious assault. She has been released and placed on house arrest since her arrest on Friday. Anderson has been instructed to have no contact with Mays’ ex-partner. She is due to appear in court on June 10.
