As Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain are set to battle in the Champions League final in just a matter of hours, chaos has been seen on the streets of Budapest as fans clash
Chaos has broken out on the streets of Budapest in Hungary just hours before the Champions League final between Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
Footage has been shared widely on social media allegedly showing football fans brawling in the streets with flares set off. The streets had earlier been taken over by rowdy but well-behaved Arsenal fans soaking up the atmosphere of one of the biggest games in their history.
Fans can be seen confronting each other before punches and kicks were thrown at each other as the streets are turned red due to flares. In one clip, a woman can be seen kicking a man, causing him to stumbles backwards. He is then seen with three other men throwing punches towards him.
There was also footage of bottles appearing to be thrown and other allegedly fans charging towards another group while throwing punches. Sounds of glass smashing and French speaking can be heard in on clip of the violent scenes.
It is currently unknown if any arrests have been made during the sad scenes in the late hours of the night before the Champions League final at the Puskas Arena.
