Snooker world No.1 Judd Trump issued a statement claiming that he was “hacked” after an explicit video appeared on his official social media page
Snooker star Judd Trump issued a statement claiming that his social media account had been “hacked” after an X-rated video appeared on his official Instagram page.
The snooker world No.1 has been left in a rather awkward situation after a video allegedly showing his trouser trumpet was posted on his Instagram account. Any sensitive content or phallic posts have since been deleted.
However, fans got an eyeful of what was seemingly someone’s cue being chalked on the 36-year-old’s page, before the explicit content was taken down and a statement was later posted about the alarming incident.

Trump attempted to explain the situation on his Instagram story, as he wrote: “Just a quick note to let everyone know that my Instagram account was hacked.
“Any images or content posted recently were not posted by me and do not represent me in any way. Please disregard them while I work to regain control of the account. Thank you for your understanding.”
That message on Trump’s official account has since been deleted and is no longer there for users to view. The Daily Star Sport has contacted Trump and his representatives for comment.
Meanwhile, fans reacted to the situation with some light humour on social media, with plenty of comments about cue action.
Trump was knocked off top spot in the WST rankings despite a second round defeat in the World Snooker Championships in April after he was beaten 13-12 by Iran’s Hossein Vafaei.
However, with the Saudi Arabia Masters cancelled he will be unable to defend the £500,000 prize money he won for winning the tournament in September 2024.
But Trump said after his Crucible exit that he isn’t worrying about losing his top ranking spot. He said: “It doesn’t really bother me. I think with the world number one thing, I don’t feel like I’ve played good enough to hold it.
“I’m still number one at the moment, but I think maybe I need someone to overtake me, to give myself a bit of a kick up the backside to produce the goods again.
“It’s something that I love being. I’m disappointed when we lose any tournament, but yeah, hopefully we can replace it with a few others.”
