How to watch England’s friendly against New Zealand in the United States

  • Kick-off details: The pre-World Cup friendly is set for Saturday, June 6. Kick-off is at 9pm UK time (4pm US time).
  • Venue: The match will be held at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. There are concerns that the massive stadium may only be a quarter full due to disappointing ticket sales.
  • UK TV coverage: Fans throughout the United Kingdom can tune into the game live on free-to-air television via ITV. The channel’s pre-match studio coverage kicks off at 8.15pm.
  • Streaming options: If you’d rather stream the match on your computer, it’s available live on the official ITVX website. For those watching on mobile devices, tablets or smart TVs, the game can be accessed through the ITVX app, reports the Mirror.
  • US viewers: Those in the United States can catch the live action on Fox Sports. Additionally, the match can be streamed online and on mobile devices via the FuboTV platform.
  • Radio broadcast: If you can’t make it to a screen, live commentary will be aired across the UK on BBC Radio 5 Live and talkSPORT. Pre-match build-up and analysis will begin earlier in the evening.
  • England team news: Head coach Thomas Tuchel has a largely fit squad at his disposal, but Arsenal quartet Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, Eberechi Eze and Noni Madueke have been ruled out to allow them additional recovery time following the Champions League final. Youngsters Alex Scott, Rio Ngumoha, Josh King and Ethan Nwaneri are supplementary squad members and are expected to feature in the pre-tournament friendlies.
  • New Zealand team news: New Zealand midfielder Ryan Thomas has been sidelined through injury. His midfield colleague Joe Bell remains a major doubt, although medical staff will conduct a late fitness assessment before reaching a final verdict.
  • Historical head-to-head record: This fixture represents just the third occasion in history that the England men’s senior side has taken on New Zealand. The Three Lions boast an unblemished record against the All Whites, having secured victory in both previous meetings back in June 1991 during a short tour of Auckland and Wellington.
