It has details that make it great for watching live sports
Football fans looking to upgrade their match-day setup without splashing out on a giant television may want to take a look at a Google TV projector that’s been reduced by £50. The smart device has impressed shoppers with its performance, with one reviewer describing it as ‘great for the price’ thanks to its combination of streaming features, picture quality and ease of use.
The Aurzen Google TV 4K Supported Smart Projector, which is now £149.97 down from £199.99 on Amazon, comes with Google TV built in, giving users direct access to more than 10,000 apps without needing an additional streaming stick. Popular services, including Netflix, YouTube, Disney+ and Hulu, are available straight from the projector, alongside more than 800 free channels, the site says.
Google TV also brings personalised recommendations based on viewing habits, while Google Assistant allows for hands-free voice control. Users can also cast content directly from compatible smartphones, tablets and laptops using Google Cast.

One of the standout features is its automated setup system. Auto Focus, Auto Keystone Correction, Auto Obstacle Avoidance and Auto Screen Alignment work together to help create a properly positioned image with minimal effort.
For audio, the projector features dual 8W speakers enhanced with Dolby Audio technology. The built-in sound system is designed to deliver immersive audio with clear dialogue, deep bass and improved detail, making it suitable for sports broadcasts as well as films and TV shows.
Connectivity options include 5G/2.4G dual-band WiFi for stable wireless streaming, alongside Bluetooth 5.1 support. This allows users to connect wireless speakers or soundbars for an upgraded audio setup, while the projector can also function as a standalone Bluetooth speaker.

The Aurzen Google TV 4K Supported Smart Projector has been rated a 4.4 out of five stars from almost 400 reviews on Amazon. One person said: “Very good, budget-friendly projector. I use it around my house for football, and it’s great. Five out of five stars. Great for the price.”
Another added: “Amazing projector. Great sound quality. Great picture. Set up takes a bit of time, but after that, it’s smooth sailing. Easy to use and would definitely recommend it to anyone.”
A third wrote: “Unbelievably good, such quality at that price. I’m very happy that the picture is very sharp, even on the wall.”
Some people removed a star and said: “The image quality is good and the system is easy to navigate. However, the cooling fan could be a bit loud if you are sensitive to sound.”
Another added: “The projector does not include a ceiling mount, so that’s an extra, but the real deal breaker is the brightness, the colours are very washed out and dim, you can’t get a bright picture with vivid colours. Even in the dark room, it doesn’t look too good.”
