Influencer Erzabel, who earns up to £60,000 a month and has 800,000 Instagram followers, says she was left speechless after a fan admitted selling his car
A content creator has revealed the most extreme thing a fan has ever done for her – selling his car so he could spend more money on her online.
Erzabel was left stunned when the devoted follower admitted he’d got rid of the vehicle and used some of the proceeds to continue supporting her content.
The creator says she’s heard plenty of unusual stories from fans over the years, but this one genuinely left her speechless.
Erzabel, who has over 800,000 followers on Instagram @erzabelx, was left stunned when a follower confessed he had sold his car and used some of the proceeds to spend more money on her content. “One fan told me he’d sold his car and initially I thought he was joking,” Erzabel said.
“He explained he’d done it because he wanted more money available to spend on me.” The fan later used some of the money from the sale to purchase content and continue supporting her online business.
Erzabel said: “It was definitely one of the craziest things I’ve heard. I asked him if he was serious and he was.
“I was shocked.” Despite the incident, Erzabel insists she never encourages fans to make major financial sacrifices.
She said: “I always tell people to be responsible because their real life comes first. I never want someone putting themselves in a bad position.”
The entrepreneur, originally from Southeast Asia, says her business has grown rapidly since she launched her online career during the pandemic. A viral video that racked up 42 million views helped propel her profile onto the global stage.
Since then, she has built an international audience and now earns up to £60,000 a month. The influencer regularly travels the world, flies business class and has treated herself to luxury purchases including a £50,000 Birkin bag and a £30,000 Rolex.
Despite her success, she says the most rewarding aspect of her work is the community she has created. The 30-year-old added: “People often don’t understand the business side of what I do.
“It’s about building trust and connection with an audience. That’s what creates loyalty.
“That’s why people stick around for years. When someone tells me they’ve sold a car because they want to support me, it’s obviously surprising.
“But it also shows how strong those connections can become.”
