A glamorous reality star has been arrested and is currently being held in custody after she allegedly attacked cops and hurled glasses and cutlery at a popular cafe.

Influencer Laura Prgomet, who boasts an impressive 70,000 followers on Instagram and featured on the Croatian version of The Bachelor, is accused of smashing glasses, damaging furniture and being ‘aggressive’ at Café Brazil in Dubrovnik, prompting police to be called to the venue.

When cops arrived at the scene, the reality star reportedly became even more angry, being described in local media reports as hurling explicit abuse at the police and even physically attacking them.

According to an eye-witness, who spoken with Dubrovnik Daily, the alleged outburst began after the influencer became embroiled in a row with a customer at the cafe, who she called ‘fatty’ and began throwing glasses at.

The witness said: ” I don’t know how many she threw, but I saw one when it flew out, I happened to come across it. It was around 8:30 PM, I remember seeing a young man from the City, he was sitting outside with a girl.

“She looked kind of hysterical, and he approached her and asked if he could help her, but she started yelling even louder, aggressively insulting him and actually threw a glass at him.”

According to the same witness, Prgomet described a female police officer as a “whore” and began attacking them.

She explained: “She went hysterical and crazy and was saying all sorts of things.

She insulted the police officer from the patrol who came to intervene at night with the words – “You ugly whore!”, she wrestled with her in the car, I even heard from one police officer that his colleague was slightly injured.”

The incident reportedly took place just hours after Prgomet had been seen attending a live performance by Serbian singer Darko Lazić, who she was said to have been spending time with before the alleged disturbance.

Prgomet was eventually arrested at the scene and taken to a police station in the Croatian capital, where she remains in custody ahead of an appearance with prosecutors.

A judge has now ordered that she remain in custody for up to 30 days while the investigation continues.

Pero Miloglav, spokesman for the County Court, said the court had accepted the prosecution’s request for pre-trial detention because of concerns she could reoffend.

He said: “She has been ordered into custody for up to one month due to the risk of repeating the offence, taking into account the exceptional persistence, aggression and recklessness she displayed while insulting and physically attacking police officers. One female police officer suffered minor injuries during the incident.”

Prgomet is accused of committing two criminal offences relating to attacks on public officials.
