With paddling pools selling out all across the country, Amazon customers have found one that’s still for sale
With Brits once again sweltering through another 30C heatwave, the high temperatures are turning gardens across the country into makeshift sun traps. As people look for ways to cool down, many shops have seen paddling pools fly off the shelves, leaving some shoppers struggling to find one.
However, there are still options for anyone hoping to keep cool at home. Amazon Prime members, for example, can order certain pools for delivery straight to their door, potentially arriving as soon as tomorrow.
One popular choice is the Bestway 12819 Inflatable Pool, a family-sized option designed for garden fun during warm weather. The rectangular pool measures 211cm long, 132cm wide and 46cm high, giving children plenty of space to splash around.

It is made from durable vinyl with two inflatable rings and has a bright blue design with white detailing. Once filled, it can hold up to 400 litres of water, making it suitable for family cooling-off sessions in the garden.
A repair patch is also included, which can be useful if the pool suffers a small puncture during use. The pool is recommended for children aged six and over, and children should always be supervised by an adult while playing in water.

Amazon shoppers who have already snapped up the Bestway Pool have given it an impressive 4.3 out of five-star rating. One buyer said: “Really happy with this pool. It is big enough for 4 (not over large) adults to sit in without being monstrously big, hence not excessive on water consumption to fill. The sides are high and firm enough to sit comfortably propped reading a book.”
Another described it as “a godsend during the heatwave,” adding, “Absolutely loved this. Only used twice, but what a great item. You must make sure it is fully inflated so it doesn’t sag, but if you do, it’s pretty sturdy and large enough for two adults to recline.”
A third added: “With these heatwaves, I decided to get a small pool for the hot days. I love this little pool. I can fit a floaty in it and float around.”
Some shoppers were less impressed, however, with one three-star review noting: “Bought this for the kids early summer, first use all was good. The second use was a couple of weeks later, and the lower ring deflated and needed reinflating after an hour or so. Then another week or so later, and 3rd use, both rings now deflate and require topping up after an hour or so.”
A different review hailed it as being a “Brilliant value large paddling pool”, adding: “arrived early, easily inflated with a pump we already owned, and has stayed up for a week with no need to put in extra air. It takes quite a long time to fill – but then it is quite large! It was an absolute lifesaver during the heat wave. Bargain!”
