One of the world’s top models stunned on centre court as she posted for a private photo shoot ahead of today’s action at Wimbledon. Chanel model and “house ambassador” Bhavitha Mandava was seen earlier today in the Royal Box, as well as in regular seating areas posing for several fashionable snaps.
The outfit, which appears to be a Chanel special, is a “Cami and skirt coord with lace and beading embellishments,” a fashion expert told the Daily Star of the Vogue cover star who became the first Indian woman to open a show for Chanel at the Métiers d’Art show 2026.
The item is, however, so expensive that you have to request the price from Chanel direct, who state on their website: “For the Métiers d’art 2026 collection, eclectic silhouettes cross paths in a play of contrasts where the extraordinary meets the everyday. Unique to Chanel, the Métiers d’art collections celebrate every year the exceptional savoir-faire of at the heart of the House’s creations.”
For the unaware, Mandava rapidly rose to global prominence after moving to the United States to complete a master’s degree in Integrated Design & Media at New York University.
Her most historic milestone arrived in December 2025, when she became the first Indian model to ever open a Chanel runway show, leading the Métiers d’Art 2026 presentation.
Luckily for Mandava, she’s in for a great day of action as it’s ladies’ singles semi-finals day, with Coco Gauff taking on Karolina Munchova at 1.30pm, while Marta Kostyuk takes on Linda Noskova in the other semi-final.
Ukrainian Kostyuk told Wimbledon’s own press team that the invasion of Ukraine by Russia still makes things difficult for her when she plays.
She said: “It’s been difficult, every day is different. I cope with it as it goes.”
That game is followed by the mixed-doubles final as Australian duo Marc Polmans and Storm Hunter will battled number two seeds Marcelo Arevalo and Jelena Ostapenko.
