Elizabeth Siders, charged in connection with the Ohio ‘house of horrors’ child endangerment case reportedly had four sets of twins in three years – including conjoined twin girls
The mother-of 16-in the grim “house of horrors” case that has gripped America gave birth to four sets of twins within a three-year span, it has emerged.
Elizabeth Siders delivered numerous children between February 2022 and January 2025. One pregnancy resulted in her giving birth to conjoined twins. Tragically, the children both soon died after they were delivered.
According to public records and amended court filings examined by People Magazine, Siders’ final four pregnancies each resulted in twins – with questions lingering about another pregnancy. In February 2022, she gave birth to her first set of twins, two of the 16 children who were rescued. Later that year, in November, she delivered two conjoined twin girls who died shortly after birth.
Another set of twins were born in January 2024, amongst the surviving rescued children. In January 2025, before her arrest, she delivered her fourth set of twins. A former FBI agent has revealed the disturbing “red flags” that were missed, reports the Irish Star.
On June 30, Gary Siders Sr, 73, Christina Siders, 66, Gary Siders Jr, 36, and Elizabeth Siders, 33 – the mother of the children, were arrested on child endangerment charges. They have pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Officials say the children, aged from 18 months to 18-years-old, “looked like feral animals” when they were taken from the property. Ohio Attorney General Andy Wilson described the evidence collected as “beyond comprehension.”
Gary Siders Jr, believed to be the children’s father, worked as a DoorDash delivery driver, according to NewsNation.
“Only the grandparents were being supported by the state. I don’t think that Gary Siders was even working, but if he was working, he was working as a DoorDash driver or delivery driver,” said Lauren Conlin, an independent crime and entertainment reporter, during an appearance on Chris Cuomo’s podcast, Cuomo Crime Time.
The 16 children were allegedly kept captive for years in a room measuring just 12-by-12-foot and were not enrolled in school. While the grandparents reportedly received state benefits, the county prosecutor confirmed the children had no educational or medical records.
Just last week, Ohio legislators also approved $1 million in emergency funding to aid in the care of the children. The Ohio Controlling Board sanctioned funds to cover related costs, including court proceedings and law enforcement overtime, as the children will be placed into foster care, according to WCMH.
Ronnie Fletcher, an uncle of the children, expressed he was completely oblivious to the living conditions that officials have labelled as “deplorable conditions.”
He further explained that both he and his wife are now too scared to go to work, fearing the situation could ruin the business venture he’d been working hard to establish.
“All this is taking money off our table because we can’t live our normal lives because the way these people are trying to treat us on something we didn’t have nothing to do with,” he said.
“How am I supposed to start a business in this community when I’m being stapled to the face of ‘pure evil?'”
Fletcher, who is married to a daughter of suspects Gary Siders Sr and Christina “Lynn” Siders, told WOWK-TV: “What can I do to help? – That was the original reaction to it.
“Horrified. Worried about the kids. It’s hard to explain the action when you’re distant family.”
This follows as unsettling footage of the mother-of-16 huddled in jail after her arrest has surfaced.
