Saffie Osbourne raised the Shergar Cup this afternoon as Team Great Britian and Ireland claimed victory against opposing nations Europe, Hong Kong and the Rest of the World.

The GB jockey was competing alongside fellow team members Ryan Moore, and Dylan Browne McMonagle. Saffie, who captained the team, has been enjoying a standout season with particular success at Ascot. Her winning streak continues, as she clinched first place on favourite Red Spells Danger in the 3.20 Dubai Duty Free Shergar Cup Sprint.

However, away from the track, Saffie shocked with an unexpected performance. Commuters were given an unexpected DJ performance this week.

The pair performed on a train

Saffie was joined by none other than radio and daytime TV regular DJ Marvin Humes.

The pair teamed up on board a South Western Railway service from Ascot to London Waterloo on Tuesday, August 4, ahead of both of their appearances at this year’s Dubai Duty Free Shergar Cup & Concert at Ascot Racecourse.

Both unexpected sights on a morning train, but they certainly put on a show for listeners.

Workers could be seen dancing along to the house music, despite being in broad daylight.

Throughout the trip, Mr Humes provided Ms Osborne with an impromptu lesson in DJing while passengers started dancing, crowding around, and filming the spontaneous show on their phones.

Commuters were pleasantly surprised

The partnership was organised by Ascot Racecourse working with South Western Railway to highlight the direct rail connection between Waterloo and Ascot before the much-anticipated race day.

Mr Humes is performing on stage after racing alongside Blue, B*Witched, and Boyzlife as the course have continued to provide action both on and off course.
